What To Expect
Riomaggiore
We start from Riomaggiore towards Manarola. Here we will see the small village from the sea, from where you can admire the famous Marina di Riomaggiore, the castle of San Giovanni and the sanctuary of the Madonna di Montenero, patron saint of Riomaggiore, as well as magnificent vineyards overlooking the sea. I will tell the story of the medieval town and its origins.
Describe what the travelers will see or do. Here we will see the small village from the sea, which shows the famous church of San Lorenzo, patron saint of Manarola, the terraces overlooking the sea and the extraordinary Manarola nativity scene, which is lit every winter. 5.00"Our boat tour with Jenny was hands-down the highlight of our time in Cinque Terre. My husband and I brought my 75-year-old mother-in-law, and Jenny welcomed all three of us with open arms. She is vibrant, energetic, hilarious, and a true local—the only female captain in the area! She is incredibly talented, switching fluently between English, Spanish, and Italian to make everyone feel included. Her welcoming spirit was infectious; she had a fantastic, positive playlist going and even got my mother-in-law up and dancing like she was 25 again! If you want an authentic, intimate experience with a captain who treats you like family, book this tour. Jenny is a gem!"

5.00Absolutely loved this boat trip with local, Captain Jenny. Extremely knowledgeable about the villages, sharing history and happy to answer any questions. Jenny is awesome! Funny and super hospitable, highly recommend booking early to get the time slot you want. We took the sunset tour, swam through a cave and had many, many laughs.

5.00Our boat tour with Jenny was incredible! She's so knowledgeable about Cinque Terre and it's history while still being so much fun! She navigated us all around the 5 towns where we got to see caves, fish, and swim in a natural pool created by the rocks. She also gave us some delicious snacks and drinks while we cruised along the coast. I highly recommend Jenny for your boat tours. She's the best!
