Everyone should experience this train ride at least once in their lifetime. The scenery is stunning with the snow caps.

Spectacular journey! The bus went straight first in St. Moritz and from there we took the train. Weather in St. Moritz is a little short, but gave to walk a little and have lunch. The train ride is fantastic, better I passed that I've ever done in life. With views of the snowy mountains and the cities on the way. Best experience of my life.

Picked up the bus in Milan and we was off - beautiful scenery all the way To st moritz - then some free time to explore. Back to the station to experience a magical winter wonderland through the alps - it was the best day.

We got picked-up from our hotel at 6:00 AM. We appreciate that. We were dropped off on some corner ten/fifteen minutes later. There, we waited for the tour bus, which did not leave until 7:15 AM. From there, we went to pick-up more people at Milano Céntrale. Finally, we left Milano for Saint Moritz at 8:00 AM. Although it was nice to be picked-up from our hotel, it would have been more convenient to simply show-up at Milano Céntrale at 7:30 AM or 7:45 AM. A waste of time of about two hours. Frustrating. Our tour guide, Ana, was engaged, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and did a very nice job in both languages: English and Spanish. The weather did not cooperate; however, we intermittently got to enjoy the beautiful scenery. After everyone boarded the train and the ride began, some people started talking with friends and family overseas through FaceTime (loud telephone speakers), started to get up right and left to take pictures, opened the train windows to get good pictures, drizzle and cold air started to get in through the open windows, people rushed to get selfies and good photos. It was a mess to put it lightly. The tour guide is not responsible for people’s behaviors but it would have been appropriate (and necessary) for everyone’s enjoyment to set some boundaries for civility and courtesy. On top of the fact that the weather did not cooperate (no one’s fault), people’s lack of respect for the space we all share was appalling. It was a very disappointing experience. It was frustrating and annoying. As we have seen in other tours, it is the tour guide’s responsibility to foster and maintain an atmosphere of fun and adventure, and also mutual respect and consideration.

Our guide Ana was great explained everything in English and Spanish talking about every detail, we went by bus we stopped for a coffee and we stayed about two hours in Saint Moritz we went back in the train that opens the window and we stayed about 40 minutes in Tirano where the bus already waited for us. We went on 15/11/2025 and made very cold points with snow etc go well agasalh. It is worth the walk!

It was an amazing trip. My kiddo loved the Alps even more than Venice. We also had a very nice and professional guide who supported our group. I have only one recommendation: please add a restroom stop on the way back. The bus got stuck in traffic, and instead of 2 hours on the road, we spent 3.5 hours without any amenities.
