Tour was cancelled was originally scheduled on Ascension day and was replaced by premium panoramic train ride from Luzerne to Interlaken. Train ride was nice with good views despite intermittent rain. However, tour guide Juliana, who took us on the tour was late for 15 minutes. The fact that Swiss train never miss its timing, there is no excuse for a tour guide to be late. I guess booking a tour on a Swiss holiday may be risky as it may not run as planned. Despite the panoramic train ride and tour is more costly as a replacement, we already booked a tour a similar route on a second day. It is also tough to make plans few days in advance.

It’s more of a relaxing day. Laid back & casual. The stop for lunch needed to be longer. No fault of tour guide- restaurant was slower so we didn’t see much in that town. Didn’t realize that part of tour was by bus; but that was fine. Our guide was a lovely; informative & friendly and wants to know about us as well.
