  • Seeing the bush in a different light

Today we experienced a wonderful walking tour with Eric Brown in Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park. Eric led us down some easy tracks through the beautiful bush to 3 ancient Aboriginal rock engraving sites. He shared with us his deep and at times his soulful interpretation of images, humans and animals, taking us back to much earlier times. It’s often said that this land, always was and always will be Aboriginal land. Today the truth of that was carved in stone in front of us to ponder.

  • Deeply enriching and informative tour with Friendly and open guide

I booked the Sydney south royal national park tour and it was my first cultural tour ever. I must say I’m glad I booked, my guide Eric was promptly on time , friendly and was incredibly open in regards to questions about indigenous culture, history and personal experiences. He made me feel welcome and unafraid to ask anything in regards to indigenous affairs. I experienced the smoking ceremony where I felt invited and encouraged to share my personal story to help feel connected to the land. Saw some incredible ancient carvings where Eric explained the teachings that they give to people with purpose to life. Would definitely come back and do another tour with Natcha.

Had a brilliant morning out at Ku-ring-gai with Eric for a team bonding and culture PD session. Can’t speak highly enough of the experience. Eric’s knowledge, expertise, and skill in guiding us across some remarkable sites was just outstanding. We’ll be back again for sure!

  • Best thing we did in Sydney!

Did this tour with Eric on my last day in Sydney and so glad I squeezed it in. He's incredibly knowledgeable and such a lovely person to spend a few hours with. I learned so much about the history and culture of the area, and the rock engravings were a real highlight - we honestly had no idea they were even there. Eric took his time, answered all our questions, and made me feel fully present - I now know what it means to truly 'connect' to country. Easily one of the best things we did on the whole trip. Highly recommend!

This was a great experience to get out on country and learn some great insights to Indigenous way of life. Eric was great at giving all the participants time to reflect on self and also space for us to learn and share our own knowledge. Recommend this to anyone looking to further knowledge on indigenous culture.
