Red Route - Sydney City Tour

Duration:1 hour 30 minutes

Stop 4: Art Gallery of NSW

Stop 5: El Alamein Fountain - Macleay St (outside Oasis Emporium, opposite the fountain)

Stop 6: Woolloomooloo Bay - Cowper Wharf Rd (outside Woolloomooloo Hotel)

Stop 7: Australian Museum (Interchange) - William St (between Yurong and College Streets, Outside the Museum)

We found this a useful way to familiarise ourselves with Sydney in a short time. However you need to make use of the app as the bus stops weren’t easy to find and it was the only way to know when to expect the next bus.

Bus tour took us to the main sights on red and blue line. We did night tour which was good with lots of photo stops (bring a jacket as it can get cold). We struggled with redeeming the cruise portion but luckily we get 7 days to avail it. Overall good way to see city. Beware buses stop around 5pm for the last departure.

Very disappointing. Busses were not on schedule, stops were hard to find. When we finally got on we had to stand, se we didn’t get the commentary and it was crowded. Requests for partial refund were denied.

The bus was great and all, with beautiful views of the city. However, what makes the big bus tour so brilliant is not the scenery, but the people you meet on your journey. Adam, one of the employees, is quite possibly one of the most genuine, down to earth people I have ever met. He made sure that we were all settled in, got the earpieces to listen, and just enjoyed the overall experience. Highly recommend because of him.

Trip was amazing, with great views. One of the employees, Adam, provided one of the greatest customer service experiences I’ve ever had. He made this experience so much better than it was and I honestly believe I will be back just because of the amazing service Adam provided.

Beautiful city, great tours and best way to see such a wonderful city. Highly recommend the 'explore ticket' if still available, comes with 2 days travel on the bus, 1 day travel on the hop on hop off boat and you get their night tour for free - great value. We have done tours with big bus in other city and Sydney did not disappoint - especially dealing with their friendly staff, one in particular the kiwi lady at the main stop where we boarded, super super helpful and accommodating to my family and I. Thank you for the great experience.
