Since 2002, Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve has been a “NO TAKE” marine zone. As a result, fishing and species collection are strictly prohibited, ensuring the conservation of its underwater treasures. The reserve, part of the Great Southern Reef, features rocky reefs, seagrass meadows, and sandy bottoms. Because of these diverse habitats, you’ll encounter a thriving array of marine life, just 30 minutes from Sydney’s CBD.

5.00Our guide was very friendly and answered any questions we had. The experience was so fun and nice and relaxing! We even got to witness fresh water coming into the basin after 2 years of no new water coming in due to the drought!
