5.00Bus tour of highlights of Sydney and surrounding suburbs. We started and ended at Hyde Park, the oldest public parkland in Australia. Martin the tour guide did a very good job taking us around to numerous neighborhoods and telling us about everywhere we passed, even when forced into a detour. He had several anecdotes and also gave tons of advice on getting around on our own, like explaining the weekend fares. He was very good at herding his crowd back to the bus after each stop so we kept on schedule. Unfortunately even though we had great seats at the front of the bus, the rain streaked windows made photography a challenge. We had fun making comparisons to San Diego neighborhoods and beaches.

4.00The tour was informative. The bus was to small, I had trouble getting my legs and knees in the seating area. The person behind me had their knees in my back. The driver was accommodating and spoke with a heavy accent, which made it hard to understand at times. The bus seating made it to uncomfortable to really enjoy the total trip.
