Taronga Zoo
Enjoy a day out at the award-winning Taronga Zoo, home to more than 2,900 exotic and native species. Learn about the different animals through one of the many free zoo-keeper talks; be entertained by the playful seals at the Seal Theatre; and watch the famous free-flight bird show, where birds of prey show off their hunting skills. Visit the Asian Rainforest and see the orangutans swinging in the trees; then pass the winding river of the AGL Amazon exhibit, home to animals from South America.

4.00It’s fantastic to see Australian wildlife and experience zookeeper presentations throughout the day. While the zoo is less than intuitive to navigate, staff bent over backwards to help out. The food available could be a lot better and was not a highlight.

5.00Being my first time in Sydney and having no car, this sounded like the perfect way to see more of Sydney and the Zoo. The ferry to the zoo was fantastic what beautiful sights to see the opera house, the Sydney Bridge and surrounding areas. The zoo was amazing I loved it. Staff were so helpful and was just and amazing experience that I totally e joy my day trip!!! Top marks and a really great price for the zoo and ferry combination.

4.00Wonderful zoo, so many animals and lots of talks and experiences to choose from. Only down is that it was hard to get around for my mother-in-law, as she uses a walker normally but knew she wanted to use the mobility scooters available, when we got there we we're told that because rain was forecasted they took the scooters offline for the day - it was overcast but it did not rain all day while we were there and subsequently she did not get to see everything she wanted to before walking became unbearable for her.

2.00Disappointed overall. Expensive for what you get. Zoo did not appear to have the number of animals advertised. The cable car not working. No problem with the booking & ferry service good & on time .would not recommend the zoo to friend's. .
