Ferry ride was great. Got to see the Harbour Bridge and Opera House from the bay. It would be better if the return ferry time is posted online, so we can plan our visit better. The zoo was also great. Unfortunately, the koalas wee sleeping when we came before noon.

Lovely way to visit a fabulous zoo. Not just native Australian animals but from other parts of the world. Rope climbs and other activities for kids

Fairly large zoo in a hilly terrain. Australian animals, Rain forest birds and reptile/lizards exhibits are quite unique. You can see the animals up close. The African trail has Giraffes that can seen at a close distance. The zoo’s main entrance is a bus ride for which you need the local transit card or a credit card/Applepay. You need a unique credit card per person. It’s about a 10 min ride. Highly recommend the seal show and bird presentation.

Very easy to exchange voucher and hop on ferry. Zoo was great with amazing and knowledgeable employees who answered all questions and actually told us individual back stories on animals. Great day!

The zoo was terrific! We were ably guided by a zoo employee, Denise, who assisted us with reading the map and providing us with the best route to ensure we experienced the animals native to Australia and an excellent insight into the African safari (i.e. the lions were so animated!). The ferry was on time and comfortable. We had breakfast and appetizers at Rossi. Totally great day.

Can’t go wrong on this one if you like zoos and ferries. Sydney is one of the world’s best zoos and I have been to many around the world. I highly recommend this tour.

Tarango zoo is very well laid out with lots to see from the Australian bush (koalas, kangaroos, dingoes, etc), African Savannah (lions, zebra, giraffes, etc), rainforest (pygmy hippo, rhino, monkeys,), Asian (tigers, sun bear), seals, penguins, red pandas, chimpanzees, gorillas and more. We spent ~4h and probably saw 1/3 of entire place. We suggest getting there when they first open at 9:30am. It also has the Sydney skyline as a beautiful backdrop. Definitely recommend.

It's a wonderful zoo! It's very easy to navigate with the map that they provide. No komodo dragons....but perhaps in the future. Taking the ferry there and back was easy also. Really liked the combo ticket of the ferry and zoo combined.
