Very easy to book online. Ticket came through quickly to phone. Frequent ferries. Zoo very much into sustaining animal populations. Enjoyed the indigenous section, but great to see the giraffes too

I really liked the ferry ride. It was short and pleasant on a nice day. The zoo was nice, too. Glad I went.

Easy to take a ferry across Sydney Harbor with plenty of availability! Views were spectacular to and fro. The main highlight is the Zoo. Layer out perfectly. Interesting exhibits, clean and with friendly staff. Everything was in place for the perfect day!

Taronga Zoo is a must-see experience if you are staying in Sydney and catching the ferry from Circular Quay is the best way to get there. We checked out the ferry location the day before, redeemed our voucher for tickets and picked up a ferry timetable. There are some steep hills in the zoo so we would recommend taking the free shuttle from the Taronga wharf up to the top entrance and walking down. If you use the bottom entrance, there are a series of elevators and escalators that will take you most of the way up. The zoo has an amazing range of animals in large open enclosures that offer great photo opportunities. Allow a full day for this tour to get the most out of the zoo.
