Great day even if slightly raining

5.00Great way to get to the zoo. The cable car is not running. We took bus to top. You have to pay. And walked down. It was beautiful to see Sydney from the zoo!! And then we exited from the lower zoo entrance/exit.

5.00Beautiful zoo. Seems humane for that animals that live there. You could easily spend 3-4 hours exploring. Quick ferry ride from Circular Quay!

5.00Such an easy way to enjoy the city and zoo! The ferry ride was quick, but gave us great views and dropped us close to the zoo. We took the public transit bus for like $2 to bring us to the top of the zoo. You can walk up a hill instead and go through the bottom entrance if you want, but we found starting up top and working our way down was much easier. One thing to note - the times online for the ferry were not correct. When you check-in in-person they give you a slip of paper so go off that!
