Tour was disappointing at Taronga Zoo. Most "feature" exhibits were missing. No elephants and no kangaroos. Several areas were being renovated which overall led to a less than enjoyable experience

Even though it rained the entire time, we saw koalas, a Tassie, kangaroo, gorillas, dingos were sooo cute; we saw Reptiles and amphibians. I saw Matilda the platypus! OMG CUTE!! Place is massive! Lots of hills, escalators, elevators to assist! Definitely worth a visit!

Really enjoyed the ferry ride. The scenery was fantastic and the weather was perfect. Pay attention to the ferry pick up times so you don’t have to wait long at the dock. They have a break starting at 11:45 am, so if you miss it, the next one leaves at 1:10pm. The zoo was fun. One thing of note, once inside Kangaroo Country, the kangaroos and emu’s aren’t behind any enclosures. You could get really close. There is a friendly zoo volunteer in the area to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend this tour.
