It definitely does not compare to the Captain Cooks dinner cruise in Perth. Night and day comparison. The Perth one was nice. The Sydney experience.... food not so good, entertainment not so good and they charged us for juice with our upgraded dinner.

It was pretty much sub par. We could have been in an airport waiting room The only positive was our server Sabena

Good and service was excellent. Lovely views of the city while dining: very peaceful and relaxing. The dinner music was very good, and just the right volume to enjoy but not impede conversation. Well done!

The Sunset Cruise was a very enjoyable experience and definitely worth doing. The boat departed on time and returned as scheduled, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The only issue I encountered was with the departure point. We were initially told to leave from Wharf 1, but the departure was moved to Wharf 2 without timely communication, which caused some confusion. Improving this aspect would make the experience even better. Other than that, it was a really good experience overall, and I would recommend it.

Great food only complaint was the music was to loud for dinner music, it was more a concert which made it hard to have a conversation

For the cost of this less than 2 hour dinner cruise, we felt it way over priced at $360.00 Canadian. The food was fine but nothing special, same with the service. Drinks were an additional cost. When we left Circular Quay harbor for the dinner cruise, we were only out in the water for about 10 minutes and then we pulled into another harbor to pick up more people which wasted about 20 minutes of just sitting on the boat waiting to get out for the harbor tour. So our tour then became 1 hour and 25 minutes instead of 1 hour and 45 minutes. By the time we got out to the open water part, there really wasn't much sunset left and it went dark, where you couldn't see anything out the window, so paying extra for a window seat seemed useless. There were long waits between each course which was fine, but we think they were trying to fill the time because with it being dark and windy, you couldn't stand outside and see anything anyways. I guess it helped to stretch out the time for the dinner. Knowing what we know now, we would have preferred to do the lunch cruise or just an afternoon harbor cruise so at least you could see something. When we finally came back at the end of the cruise and went by the Opera House, taking pictures through the water stained window was almost impossible. The pictures just had a reflection of the inside of the boat. It was an expensive 1 hour and 45 minutes and definitely not worth the money. We would have been better to do a simple harbor tour in the afternoon and go to a nice restaurant for dinner somewhere in Sydney.
