If you are picked up at the Darling harbour just know that you will be stopping at the Circular Quay harbour to pick up other people. Did not know this and thought it was a bit odd. After that it just cruised around a bit and you did get to see a fair amount of landmarks. Food was ok. Service was outstanding. But I feel they were very rushed. Not sure I would do this again. Would have liked to do more sightseeing than stopping at another harbor.

After we get a circle in the harbor halfway through we docked again for 13 minutes to pick up other people while eating our meal. We sat there and looked at other boats docked in the bay. Windows are filthy taking pictures did not come out very clear Seriously we did a circle in the harbor did not go very far and then we docked again before we headed out. If you’re looking to see Sidney Harbour, this is a waste of time.

Nicely cooked meals, ( credit to the chef ) celebrating my husband’s birthday. It didn’t delivered a great fine dining atmosphere tho ( felt like we’re just seating in foodcourt ) we felt rushed eating our meals. Should allow more time to reset our table as booking wise it supposed to be ( 2hours ) but staff just want us to get out of our table ASAP - once we finished our dessert. I just wished it’s more relaxed, not rushed!

The cruise itself was beautiful. The weather was nice and the harbor was electric. We were able to have tremendous views from the upper deck of the ship. The boat goes very slow so you don’t see a great deal of the harbor. Unfortunately, the food was inedible. We barely touched it and actually had to go out for dinner afterwards.

Our overall dinner cruise with Captain Cook's Cruises was an excellent experience. During the reservation process we selected a premium window table. Our views of the Sydney harbor, Sydney Opera House, and the Sydney Harbor Bridge were excellent for taking photos. Our four-course meal of two starters, entree, and deserts were well prepared, presented, and most enjoyable. My wife selected the chicken dish and I had the beef short ribs, which were fall off the bone tender. The portions were larger than expected. There was a cash bar on board for cocktails and other alcoholic beverages While in Sydney my wife and I stayed at the Sydney Harbour Marriott at Circular Quay. Our room was overlooking the Sydney Harbour, and within easy walking distance to the Opera House, shopping district, the historic Rocks district, botanical gardens, and Captain Cook's Pier as well as the piers for the ferries to various points around the harbor.
