Make the most of a day out at Sydney Opera House by experiencing a 1-hour guided tour followed by a show-stopping meal overlooking the Harbour at either Midden by Mark Olive, House Canteen, or Opera Bar.

The Sydney Opera House is one of the most iconic buildings in the world and this is your chance to experience beneath the magnificent sails and explore the vibrant performance spaces and extraordinary stories that exist.

After the tour, take in some best views of Sydney Harbour while you enjoy lunch from a special Tour and Dine menu.

When you check in for your tour at the Welcome Centre, on the lower concourse, you will receive a ticket stub. Please redeem this ticket at your choice of venue, either Opera Bar or House Canteen, between 11.30am - 6pm or Midden by Mark Olive, between 11.30am-2.30pm for lunch, or 5.00pm-6.00pm for dinner and receive a main meal from a selection, and choice of beverage (wine, beer, soft). Infant tickets do not include a meal or drink.

For dining at Opera Bar or House Canteen, the Tour & Dine menu is available from 11:30am - 6.00pm on the day of your tour booking.

For dining at Midden by Mark Olive, the Tour & Dine menu is available from 11:30am - 2:30pm, and 5:00-6:00pm on the day of your tour booking.

Check in for your tour 15 minutes prior to tour departure at the Welcome Centre located on the lower concourse level. You will receive a ticket to redeem the main meal and beverage at Opera Bar or House Canteen after your tour.

The booking time refers to the tour departure time. If you are more than 5 minutes late from the start time of your tour, your tour will be forfeited

Child's Menu available for Children aged 5-15

Language Tour Options: German, French, Spanish and Mandarin Tour & Dine options are operated in language, not in English.

Infants need to be booked on tour, but food & drink not included in ticket pricing.

Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour and can change up until tour departure time.

Sydney Opera House

The Tour & Dine bundles the Sydney Opera House 1-hour tour with a meal at one of their harbourside restaurants - Opera Bar, House Canteen, or Midden by Mark Olive. The story of the Opera House rivals any dramatic opera for plot twists and jaw dropping cliff-hangers. Step inside and explore beyond the magnificent sails to hear the stories behind Danish architect Jørn Utzon’s remarkable design. On this one-hour guided tour you’ll discover the intricate workings of a living, breathing icon. After the tour enjoy a meal at one of our dining venues located besides the famous sails and with some of the best views in Sydney including your choice of main meal from a selection and a drink: wine, beer, or soft drink. Enjoy your main meal and drink at either; House Canteen or Opera Bar between 1130am - 6pm by redeeming your ticket stub at the bar, or Midden by Mark Olive between 1130am-230pm for lunch, or 5-6pm for dinner by presenting you ticket to the waitstaff before being seated.

I enjoyed the tour of Sydney Opera House. I didn't know the history of the Opera House prior to taking the tour. We learned alot and saw alot of studios, theaters, and concert hall due to no shows taking place during our tour time. My favorite part was the purple carpet in the Concert Hall Northern Foyer. I purchased my ticket on Tripadvisor and it included a meal from one of the restaurants near the Opera House. My Tour Guide didn't mention anything about the meal and how to get/use the voucher. After the tour, I purchased items at the gift shop then I realized I didn't have a voucher. I went back to the Welcome Centre and my Tour Guide said to show the restaurant my ticket. I looked at the ticket and it said the voucher ends at 6pm. It was 5:45pm. I made it and ordered Australian Fish & Chips from Opera Bar.

Our guide was excellent and very enthusiastic. She shared a lot of information about the Opera House and was very knowledgeable. The meal afterwards was outstanding as well. We had an amazing time on this excursion.

Plan it 45 days prior to going because it books up fast. You can always cancel later per their cancellation policy. Also, plan on eating their, you won’t regret it!

What a great tour. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable. Each person got a headset so we could all hear her. We got to learn so much about the history of the opera house and saw many of the theaters. Then the ouch was super - we did the Midden by Mark Olive. It’s well worth and and you have great views.
