You’ll join one of our Sydney hosts, who can’t wait to share their city with you. Deciding where to go and what to skip in a city as golden, big and shiny as Sydney is a challenge for any mere mortal, but not for an insider. From cocktail bars to scrumptious eateries and historic neighborhoods to energetic markets the day’s sights are yours to command! Your host will have a few suggestions of their own, but the gist of this experience is to blend city highlights with local insights and come up with a Sydney cocktail that’s authentic and fun!
Within 24 hours after booking you'll receive a short questionnaire about your personality and interests. Based on your responses, you'll be assigned a like-minded host. Your host will communicate with you directly to suggest an itinerary to help you discover what makes the city unique. You will also agree on a meeting time and place. Your itinerary is flexible, so during the
experience, you can always change your mind about what you want to do.

5.00Peter Sullivan was an excellent guide for our tour of Sydney. He reached out to us with plenty of advance notice to finetune an itinerary. He offered helpful suggestions. Peter was also very flexible after meeting up with him on the day of the tour. We had toured a bit of the city on our own on the prior day, but nothing beats a "real tour" with a "real Local". Peter provided great insight on Australia and Sydney's history, politics, economy, education, society, healthcare, culture, arts, architecture, ecoclimate, and other areas of interest for our group. We got a small sense of the "real Sydney" and hidden gems, not just the tourist spots but we did have an admittedly great time at the Opera House and Manly Beach!

The walking pace was comfortable, and using public transportation made it easy to cover a lot of ground while seeing the city like a local. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared great insights into Sydney’s history, neighborhoods, and culture. We saw iconic sights as well as hidden gems we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend this tour for first-time visitors or anyone who wants a relaxed, authentic way to explore the city.
