This was an interesting and entertaining tour. Our guide George was an excellent guide, one of the best we have used. He was very knowledgeable and was easy to hear throughout the tour. He clearly loved recounting the history of the Rocks area and you come away from the tour with a greater appreciation of Sydney and its history.

George is very well read and informed on the Rocks area history and you can tell he’s enthusiastic about passing it on to others.

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and presented information about the Rocks in a very engaging way including large maps, photographs, and contemporary drawings of what the area looked like at different points in history. The guide also used a microphone which made it easy to hear.

I can’t express how much of a joy it was to spend an hour and 30 minutes walking around the rocks with our guide George. He was very knowledgeable but what stuck out to me was the flow of the history and how it led us from start to the final end point of the journey. Great option if you are interested in the history of Sydney.

A terrific way to learn the history of Sydney, when it was founded, by whom, and how. Provides a good perspective as you walk around the Rocks District and view the different buildings and streets. Our guide was a skilled storyteller and very knowledgeable. He showed us sights and places that we probably would not have come by on our own.
