George was an excellent guide! He was extremely knowledgeable about The Rocks, adding little known tidbits of information while allowing for questions from participants. He made sure we could all hear, gave any of us that needed it extra time to move from one location to another & take photos as we went. It was a most enjoyable tour despite a constant rain!

Rocks tour rocks. Phil was interesting, informative and engaging with histories about each site we walked to. Our only caution is that the neighborhood where the tour begins is a rabbit warren of small streets. We walked back and forth on Harrington looking for number 28, but needed to go down a small alley off Harrington. An old-timey looking black wooden sign had the Rocks Tour over a small non-descript doorway.

The guide was very knowledgeable and had interesting information to share about the history of the area. However there was too much time sitting and not enough walking. Before the group set off, we sat for ay least 15 minutes listening to a talk about the area. I would prefer to be listening as we walk so that we could cover a greater area and this is advertised as a walking tour

Tour guide Anne was extremely knowledgeable about the history of The Rocks! Great job of drawing parallels with current events. Informative. Presentation delivered flawlessly - with NO notes. Anne did include sketches created during multiple eras of importance to The Rocks. None of the sketches had any notes yet Anne knew exactly which sketch was relevant to each historical period. Be prepared to walk and learn!

This walking tour involved very little walking! The tour was 90 minutes,we spent the first half hour being given a history lecture on the first settlement of Australia instead of walking around the Rocks area, the guide was hesitant with poor speaking ability. When at last we got walking we would have ten minute stops with more interminable history lectures which a lot of the time were nothing to do with the buildings we were standing outside! Two women gave up half way through and walked away, the body language of the rest of the group showed they would like to do the same! We actually walked about 15 to 20 minutes in the whole 90 minutes of the tour, she kept saying it was too hot to walk more, but actually we were in the shade most of the time and nobody was too hot. This should not be described as a ninety minute walking tour of the rocks. The tour was a complete waste of time and money and left everyone very frustrated. We then walked around the rocks on our own and actually saw the area.
