A moderate amount of walking is involved covering approx. 1.2 miles (2km) at the pace of the group’s participants

Small groups (no more than 20 people)

Tour encompasses uneven surfaces, cobblestones, worn sandstone flagging stairs and steps; while these elements of the tour have never been considered to be strenuous by most people, for others this may be considered as an unsuitable activity.

Comfortable walking shoes, hat and a bottle of water suggested

Operates in all weather conditions, please dress to the predicted weather conditions appropriate for an outdoor activity

Children and Infants must be accompanied by an adult

Meeting point is easily accessible on foot for cruise arrivals/ shore excursions

We did this tour on our very first day in Sydney, and it was the perfect introduction to the area. Judith showed us around The Rocks with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. You can tell she genuinely loves Sydney, and her passion made the history come alive. Highly recommend!

Booked through GetYourGuide. Rocks- 90min walking tour. This tour was a wonderful surprise. We often do guided tours when travelling overseas, so we decided to try one closer to home—and we’re so glad we did. The pacing was excellent, the commentary informative, and the stories offered a genuinely interesting insight into Sydney’s early history. It was an easy, engaging way to reconnect with a part of the city we thought we already knew. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would happily recommend it to both locals and visitors alike
