With drinks included, you will be “Edutained” by an expert, local, passionate guide as you venture into the heart of Australian pub culture, and experience first-hand how much these charming locations have shaped Aussie culture.

Tours operate at 2:30pm and 6:30pm.

This was a lot of fun! Scottie gave us a lot of historical info on “the rocks” area as well as the pubs and the beer. Visited 4 different pubs and tried some of the signature beers. Saturday night is perhaps not the best night to go. The pubs are crazy busy. We had some difficulty with the group seating (we were 15 people) in some of the pubs and it was hard for Scottie to talk over the noise. Fun time though and nice to chat with others from different places.

Doug with Dave's tour took us to 4 different pubs and also had stops along the way in the Rocks district to give us historical information also, learned alot about the Australian beginnings. And the delicious beer was bonus

So met our tour guide - Dave (aka Angus) at Harts Pub. Very easy to find. Started with a drink there after Dave gave us our options. During the tour, we visited 4 different bars with Dave giving us our drink options at each location. He made some great recommendations. Enjoyed each beer he told us about. We toured archeological areas with Dave explaining the history behind them as well as the history of Australia. Discussed the oldest pubs in Australia and why there is a debate about which one it is. We never felt rushed during the tour. Easy walking between bars. Dave was engaging and informative. Shared a ton of stories with him and another person on the tour. Had such an amazing time, we kept it going 2 hours past the end time. Ended up at one of the pubs we previously had a drink at and ordered some pizzas with kangaroo, emu and crocodile. Definitely the top tour we had in Sydney. Would absolutely do it again.

Really good walking tour around the oldest part of Sydney, with visits to unique pubs and the chance to taste some tasty brews. Our perfectly sized group was led by the raconteur par excellance Dave P. Comfy walking shoes are a must, and definitely look at the forecast!

It was a great evening and well worth the cost. The host Dave was fun and knowledgeable. We saw some very cool pubs and learned much about the history of the pubs and the area. We loved the small group and everyone was very nice!
