This is Sydney's only true 3 in 1 whale watching cruise. Including a city sights cruise with live commentary on Sydney's history both past and present, BBQ lunch and whale watch experience on the ultimate Sydney Harbour cruise. Relax while you see the sights of Sydney from the water as you cruise around Sydney Harbour and dine on a BBQ buffet lunch or breakfast (sat/sun only) served on board. Then head out into the open sea to go whale watching, pass through the Sydney Harbour Heads. Your crew will locate and provide informative commentary on the whales and their activity. These giants of the sea once nearly hunted to extinction, it is believed in history the humpback population was once as low as 200 whales. The conservation of these beautiful animals has led to the humpback population being at a safe level to avoid extinction. Numbers are restricted on this whale-watching cruise, with plenty of room inside and out for viewing in comfort on board your spacious sightseeing vessel.

1.00It will be cancelled due to inclement weather. Unfortunately we were not able to participate. Morning looked wonderful, but the wind was horrendous by noon.
Whales are impressive free and natural creatures.

4.00You can’t guarantee that the whales will be very active. We did see some whales, tail slaps and fin slaps. They are amazing creatures. The boat was comfortable, the lunch was tasty and the crew were friendly. Would try Sydney Princess Cruise again - but earlier in the whale migration season.

4.00The waters outside of Sydney Harbour are known to be rough. At least 50% of the passengers were seasick. Unfortunately they did not follow the crew’s instructions and use the provided “barf” bags. Therefore the restrooms were a mess. Not the crew’s fault. The preliminary safety instructions were clear to those of us who are fluent in English. Perhaps the company could provide laminated written instructions for the non-English speakers. The Captain tried his best to locate and follow the whales we saw, but dang it, the whales were not cooperating with us! Be prepared for wind and swells …

5.00Excellent cruise! Lunch was good. Staff provided an excellent narration of whale/wildlife life and habitat. Showed great respect for whales by backing off when the ship got too close to cow and calf. They even extended the cruise to ensure we would see more sightings!
