We had an amazing experience with our guide Kenji. The tour was well organized, and he taught us a lot about Filipino food. The waterfall was absolutely stunning.

From the get go, this tour was rock solid. Our amazing guide Kenji contacted us the night before, via WhatsApp to confirm pickup time. The following morning the team was right on time to meet us at our hotel. We enjoyed a fun and information packed day with another couple of tourists. The van was comfortable and air conditioned. Kenji has lots of energy, making the trip through Manilla traffic fly by. We enjoyed a delicious coconut pie on the way to viewing platforms where you enjoy seeing the beauty of the region and volcano. The waterfall visit is spectacular, make sure you've got your board shorts with you to take a shower under the fast flowing water. Keep those swim shorts on for the boat ride to the volcano as you're sure to get splashed by waves against the bow. Look forward to a delicious lunch afterwards. Yes. I would most certainly recommend this tour. Happy days indeed. 🙂

Definitely the highlight of our trip to Manila. While the views of the Volcano and Peoples Park were great, as was the boat ride, the definite highlight was the hidden waterfall. But what made this tour a standout was our guide, Kenji. Not only was he very knowledgeable, but he clearly enjoys being a tour guide, and takes great care to ensure that you are not only having a great time, but also come away from the day with a greater appreciation for Philippino history, food and culture. Thank you, Kenji!!

This tour is not fancy if that is what you are looking for, but it is authentic and provides you a real glimpse into the way that many people in the Philippines live. The tour guides were kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The boat ride and the waterfall were my favorite parts, highlighting the beauty of the island. I don’t know that you need a change of clothes, but shoes you can wear in the water are essential.

One of the best day trips my husband and I have ever done! Not only did we go to such beautiful locations, but Ken (Jenken) was absolutely incredible. The knowledge he shared with us at each spot, and in the van along the way was so informative and presented with a sense of humor. He (and fellow tour guide Hannah) made several small stops along the way for us to try local foods which got us obsessed with Buko pie now and was such a unique little addition. Taal lake volcano was amazing, but the hidden waterfall was really the icing on the cake. A little note for those taking this tour- bring water shoes as you will be wading through a creek and it can be challenging- we did it in our sneakers which may not be advisable haha. Please tell Jenken that he made it a truly unforgettable tour!!!

Marco was our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable and fun. We stopped at places that added culture to the day and the waterfall was spectacular. The boat ride out to the volcano will get you wet, but it felt good...or you can use their plastic tarp cover to stay dryer. I liked the waterfall more than viewing the volcano from the lake, but both were good. I recommend this tour!

Marco was our guide and he couldn’t have been more wonderful!! He arrived early, dressed in his traditional formal wear; he was warm, friendly, knowledgeable - an incredible guide. We had an amazing adventure - from introducing us to local foods. To a hike to the remarkable waterfall to the Taal boat ride…. to fun local history… More than five stars if we could give it!

Thank you so much for my great guide Jenken and driver Adrianne, what a fantastic day! I learned so much about Philippine's history and culture and tasted multiple traditional foods, desert and fruits. Boat trip on the lake to look at the volcano was so beautiful and peacefull. The best part of the day was hiking to the majestic waterfall - I was just like in the middle of the movie!

John the guide and Noi the driver where amazing. Noi drove very safely and patiently. John was knowledgeable, engaging and very interesting. The walk to the falls is through a jungle like rainforest which was fascinating. The waterfall it self was very nice. Overall - great day.

We made our reservation the day before and agreed a pick-up from our hotel which was not a regular pick-up point (with extra charge). Everything was very flexible to agree (using whatsapp) and we got us on board. In same transport we had also half-day trip passengers, so we got something extra visits to interesting points (Peoples Park In The Sky - Tagaytay City Fruit Market - Tagaytay Point) and got also a short ride with Jeepney. But this part is something that might not be part of the regular trip. Taal Volcano boat ride was amazing, it is not any more possible to get actual volcano island, but you can get close by boat. After boat ride, it was a lunch time in local restaurant (not. included). Hidden waterfalls required some walk on river, so requirement of waterproof shoes was a bit misleading, some Crocs/Sandals would be much better choice as you really walk 30minutes in river (20-30cm deep water). But this was absolutely worth of walking, the walking in the river on bare foot was the best experience. :) The guides we had this tour were absolutely great, they spoke fluent English and they were very helpful, 5/5! They even shared the photos they had taken after the trip. Thank You! Fully recommending this tour, if you are interested in to have some nature experience during your stay in Manila.
