5.00I was traveling solo and figured I could use some socializing for at least one night. I'm in my mid-30s now and was wondering if I was too old to do a pub crawl but nope, I had a great time drinking with fellow travelers. So many different people and groups together for a night. We ended up at Maji Square where people were drinking and dancing to mid-2010s hits (walk down memory lane lol) and having a great time. I would've never found this on my own. I ended up going on a food tour the next day as well with some folks I met. Our guides Zoe and Nick were really wonderful to chat with.

5.00It's a really great way to meet new people while having a guide to take us through local bars which we normally wouldn't have known. Astrid and Amanda were great hosts and certainly made the night a fun one! Highly recommend to join a tour like this especially for solo travelers.

3.00Mixed experience for the folks on our Wednesday night bar hop around Xinyi. Two of the three bars were empty, although one of them is more lively on the weekend. One of the bars was good though since it was in a more lively part of Xinyi (wish we spent more time in that area). The last stop was a club where the hosts abandoned us unexpectedly at the door. Weird ending to a night that was just becoming fun.
