This is a special and well-worth expereince in terms of the time and value. The tour guides are volunteers who are passionate about the helping people to understand the history of this countriy which was forbidden to spread within or otuisde this country for many years due to political oppressions.

James was our guide who walked us through history of Taiwan with a dash of fun and pinch of anecdotes. Since it was a hot and humid day he ensured we were in the shade and got a chance to refill our water bottles. He took us to an ice cream store that serves some amazing flavours at the end of the trip which was much needed on a hot day.
