Great tour. Lots of historical information. Not too much walking and all flat ground. 2 toilet stops. Recommended.

Good tour with Veronica! We learned a lot. Veronica was knowledgeable and easy to understand. She kept the group moving at a decent pace. We saw places we would never have found on our own and enjoyed the history she shared. Job well done Veronica.

Leo is not just a tour guide. He is a storyteller, a historian, and a passionate ambassador for his people, and this tour should be every visitor’s very first activity in Taiwan. He brought the history and heart of this country to life in a way that is deeply educational, completely captivating, and impossible to forget. What moved me most is that Taiwan lives under a shadow of political uncertainty most of us cannot imagine, yet its people are vibrant, warm, and awe inspiring in everything they have built despite it. All eight of my family members left forever changed, and we have been spreading our love for Taiwan everywhere we go. I hope the other 30 to 40 people in our group are doing the same, because this country and its people deserve to be celebrated. Leo, you did not just show us a city. You gave us a country to love, and we do, with our whole hearts.

This walking tour goes through Taiwan's history while walking around Old Town. Taile our guide did an excellent job explaining Taiwans history, she was very engaging, made the history come alive and was honest about the dark side of Taiwan's colonized past to the current situation today between Taiwan and China. If you are interested in Taiwans history, I recommend this tour.

Taile was an excellent guide. Her knowledge of Taiwanese history helped me gain a good understanding of past events which have culminated in current politics. Walking through the local market was especially fun. Highly recommended

Great way to spend 2 hours if you love history. Really appreciated Vincent getting into all the details of Taiwans (often complicated) past.

This was so interesting and educational! The group got to go into the Ximen markets as well for snacks. Leo did such a good job with educating us on everything regarding the history of Taiwan especially in the 1900s to present.
