5.00We were greeted at 6am by the smiling Vijay, who drove us the 3.5 hours to Agra, we felt safe and secure with him throughout and he took our comfort and welfare into account at all times. On our arrival at Agra, we were then connected to our personal guide for the day, Santosh, he was a mind of information and knowledge and guided us through the Taj Mahal and Red Fort where we gained great knowledge and understanding and had some amazing photo opportunities. On completion we headed back to Delhi with Vijay who had a very tiring 5 hour drive back. But again he was very caring of our needs to rest, and recoup. All in all it was an Ammazzing day out. My only niggle, I do not get caught up in souvenire type hustles, and I was irritated by being funnelled into a craft emporium and pressurised into listening to a presentation before being chaperoned into a sales area where I felt pressured into making a purchase, which cost me over £100 UK. It did somewhat leave me irritated for the rest of the tour.

5.00Due to my flight schedules and other plans while I was in India, I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to see the Taj Mahal. After seeing pictures from fellow travellers I was feeling a bit of FOMO (fear of missing out). With a little research I found www.indiadrivertours.com and was please to hear that that they would be able to make it happen, despite my later than usual arrival. My driver Ravi made me feel very safe and comfortable, and provided excellent service. My tour guide did a great job, providing some history and also helping to take some pictures. I wouldn’t hesitate at booking with this company again.
