Your driver and wine tour guide will take you to the best wine experiences at a variety of Tamar Valley cellar doors. We include lunch with wine. Our wine tours are fully inclusive and have repeatedly been awarded excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. We increase wine tasting pleasure by telling the backstory of the region, its vineyards and winemakers. Our group size is usually 8 guests or less with solo travellers and groups welcome. All guests must be at least 18 years of age.

The Tamar Valley

We visit 3 to 4 vineyards and we include Tasmanian produce platter lunch with premium Tamar Valley wine. We provide a roundtrip from your Launceston location and provide commentary about the history and wine region of Tasmania with a focus on the Tamar Valley.

Super day out, excellent vehicle with door to door service, wonderfully knowledgeable guide and some lovely wine estates. Super enjoyable and highly recommended. Very, very good value for money.

Such a great day, amazing scenery. I had the best time . It was incredibly informative and with a delicious lunch with again amazing views. Every winery and distillery was so welcoming. The history of Launceston, talking about the river and the development also fun and informative.You should do this tour!!!

Terry was a great host. Lots of useful Information shared on route to prepare us for the visits. Good selection of wineries and the distillery - price and size wise. The wineries and distillery staff knowledgeable and welcoming. Others of the tour were sociable. Had a terrific day. Will be recommending and also arranging for any visitors I have to do the tour. This wine tour was simply amazing. Very relaxed no rushing at each venue and the lunch was exceptional. Can't rate this high enough. Was lovely also being able to sit with other people and learn about other cultures

Terry is a fabulous host. Extremely knowledgeable and passed along several fun facts about the area. The wineries were very nice with a good selection of tastings. Lunch was delicious. Try the fish and chips, they do not disappoint. And if you're lucky enough to go to Hinton Bay Winery, it's a very special experience

I can't recommend this tour highly enough!! An excellent tour visiting 4 cellar doors tasting delicious examples of Tassie wines. Our guide, Terry, was very knowledgeable about the island as well as wine and kept us entertained on the drive through the Tamar Valley.

We travelled with Terry on this wine tour and had a great time. He provided a very informative commentary and was happy to answer any questions. The wineries we visited provided excellent tasting experiences and lunch was delicious. We are very happy to recommend this tour if you are visiting Launceston.

The driver (Terry) did a great job, but that's where it ended. My elderly wife and her friend had to sit in the front - and that was a struggle for them. Last time it was a smaller bus and no one had to sit in the front.. The first winery had a gin and scotch distillery that we went to last time, but not this time, so we went to it by ourselves to taste the gins and scotches and ended up buying some. The "lunch" was just shared cheeses and cold meat platters - not a sit down meal like last time, so it's false advertising that "lunch" is included. Wouldn't use Tamar Valley Wine Tours again. Very sad.
