our tour is offered at the heart of a subtropical forest through private access and completely away from crowds. Following old trails left by our ancestors, we will arrive at the majestic Tanama River. Huge limestone formations and thousands of springs that surround the Tanama river walls will be our scenery as we hike during our excursion. During our trek, we will visit and explore the river banks, and caves while you are refreshing yourself at the Tanama River water. Immersed in our tour, interpretation, and story-telling will give you a more complete experience. After trekking through the river, we will retur tubing down the river in the calm waters until we reach more natural pools. We welcome you in exploring this hidden gem and offering you a locally rich and truly unique adventure.

What to bring: gym shoes or hiking shoes, high-caloric snacks, water, sunblock, backpack, clothes that can get wet, swimsuit, towel and change of dry clothes. Bring enough snacks for 6 hours!!

A complete adventure! Good physical condition is required. Appreciate nature in a fun and educational way through many activities like hiking, cave exploring, river tracking, rock climbing, cliff jumping(optional), body rafting, free pictures,all safety equipment and much more. You will start out with a hike through the Tanama Forest located in the Northern Limestone Region of Puerto Rico. You will hike in the forest until reaching the Canyon. We will go floating down stream in favor of the current crossing huge natural cave tunnels passing mountains from one side to the other and relax yourself in the calm and delightful Tanama River waters. Here you will appreciate several natural water springs and incredible landscapes that this paradise provides. Through the canyon, the river current will allow you to float in specially selected places. This will be an adventure that you would never forget. Any questions, give us a call.

5.00You will have a blast! Please wear good sneakers or hiking shoes. NO water shoes! You will get dirty and most definitely wet! A water proof bag is ideal! Please arrive on time, when one party is late it messes with the tour experience for everyone else!! Our tour guide was amazing. Very informative and helpful! Quite the comedian as well! The end can be kind of strenuous, but if you take your time, it is not so bad! The adventure was more than adventurous it was spectacular!

Our guides, Jose Luis and Javy, were fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience feel safe and enjoyable from start to finish. They shared great insights and kept the energy fun the whole time. This is definitely an adventure I would recommend to everyone visiting Puerto Rico. It was a highlight of our trip!

5.00The Aricebo Cave tour was absolutely amazing! Our guides were amazing as well. Very knowledgeable about the history and the biology. Our main guide was the man!!! His biology degree was evident. He was very thorough on which shoes to use. Make sure to wear the right recommended shoes. Closed toe. The scenery was absolutely beautiful! Go Cubs! Go Puerto Rico! Thank you!!!

4.00This trip was exciting, beautiful, strenuous and fun. The sites are just amazing. This trip is physically taxing but definitely doable. You will want good footwear as you do a lot of steep hiking and walking in the water. You will hit a rock or two or twelve lol. Our only bummer is that they said we would get our pictures that the guides took within a day or two and we are over a week out and still haven’t received them. Manuel was a great guide and we enjoyed this tour!
