Skydive Franz has New Zealand’s highest mountain Aoraki/Mount Cook and the biggest glaciers Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers immediately on the right and the wide blue ocean on the left. Multiple departure times. Allow 3 hours for your tandem skydive experience.

Persons weighing between 100-115kg may be able to jump, subject to assessment by a tandem master and a harness fitting on the day. All persons weighing 100kg or over subject to a small surcharge, which varies based on weight. The minimum weight requirement is 35kg, and all passengers must be large enough to fit safely into the harness. The ability for a child to jump is determined by their, weight, size and how the harness fits. The minimum weight is 35kg and . All passengers must fit securely into the harness.All children are subject to an assessment on the day by the Tandem Master.

Nestled between New Zealand’s highest mountains, the Tasman Sea, stunning rainforests, glowing glaciers, mirror lakes and braided river beds, Franz Josef Glacier has been described as one of the most beautiful places to skydive in the world. Tandem skydiving is the fastest, easiest and safest way for an inexperienced skydiver to enjoy the thrill of jumping out of a plane, free falling through the sky at 200kph/120mph and floating safely to the ground under a parachute. You can simply enjoy the thrill of the experience knowing your tandem instructor has everything under control.

5.00This exceeded all expectations! My girlfriend and I both jumped. She was terrified of this part of our trip for weeks, but after doing it feels a million times better. The place was very professional, clean, and enjoyable. You can't get that view anywhere else. A MUST do!

5.00The team were brilliant from the administration all the way through to the bus journey back. Everyone was so friendly. They must be used to dealing with hysterical people on a regular basis! I was really impressed with how open and honest the company was, and although my timings were quite rigid they were so accommodating. My Sky Dive Master was Harvey. He was really funny and reassuring throughout. It’s a bit scary putting your life in someone’s hands, but I felt safe with him considering. It’s my first time not to scream on the initial fall so I think that says something! Thank you again Harvey and the Team! 😄
