  Said communicated with me very well initially and outlined the specifics of the tour, costs and timing. We found the price very reasonable for the services offered. We were able to meet Said's agent in Tarifa and he made boarding the ferry quite easy. In tangier Mohammad, Said's agent and tour guide, met us. The entire day was remarkable. Mohammad was very knowledgable, friendly and made the tour an exceptional experience. We were able to see all the sites we wanted to see. Mohammad seems to know everyone in Tangier and everywhere we went we were treated as VIPs. Lunch with Said in the upper floor of a quaint restaurant was superb. He wanted to make sure that all of our expectations were met -- and they were! Mohammed walked us through the marketplace, back to the ferry and made sure our return was seamless. We give Said, Mohammed and Said Private Day Tours 5 Stars -- highest recommendation. If you are going to Tangier you must engage with Said and Mohammad!

  Said and his company saved the day after another tour I booked backed out. We are so glad it happened this way. Paco met us at the Tarifa ferry and handed us our tickets. Mohammed met us at the Tangiers ferry with a clean late model Mercedes SUV that had cold water on board. Mohammed immediately took us on a beautiful driving tour of key points of interest in Tangiers, including a camel ride. From there we went to Hercules cave then off to meet Said for lunch. At the restaurant, we ate a traditional Moroccan 3 course meal, which was delicious. Said sat with us for a bit, and told us more about Tangier and the area. Finally, Mohamed took us on a walking tour of the Medina city center. It was crowded, but we never felt uncomfortable even with my wife and 13 year old daughter. (FWIW, we knew to keep our phones and wallets covered to protect us from pickpockets.) After that tour, Mohammed took us back to the ferry. Said was great, Mohammed was amazing and seemed to know everyone everywhere we went! 5/5 stars! Well done all!

  Our one day visit to Tangiers was expertly managed by our tour guide. A mix of cruising the surrounding areas of Tangier to set the geographic and historical context.. Then the walking portion that took us into the casbah and the medina, where we experienced the the sights sounds, tastes and aromas of a place that has been fascinating great powers and cultures for thousands of years. Our guide had all the information at his fingertips, as you would expect. But he was also a very good listener, to pick up on our interests and questions, and then steer the tour in a direction that was specific to us. Exaclty what you are looking for ona private tour.

  Words cannot convey how amazing this tour was. We were worried because it was rainy and cold, and the ferry was slightly delayed. Despite these things that aren’t in the tour company’s control, it was a fantastic day. I went with my 18-year-old son, and we both said that it was the highlight of our trip. The camel ride on the beach felt surreal, the Hercules cave and the markets were fascinating, and lunch was the best meal we’ve had on our trip. Vegetarians need not worry- the meal is great no matter what! We love Spain, but there are elements of Spain that feel familiar and similar to our visits to Mexico or even Florida. With this tour, you’re whisked off to another world if you are from the U.S. we haven’t visited Africa or the Middle East, and this tour gave us a sample of a word we now want to explore further. Said’s communication was above and beyond leading up to the tour. As to Mohammad, our tour guide that day, he made us feel so well taken care of. He wouldn’t let us open our own doors, carry our own shopping bags, or leave his sight. He made us feel safe for sure! Also, his English is very impressive. I’ve struggled to understand the tour guide’s in Spain. I didn’t struggle one bit here. His communication is easy to understand and thorough. Don’t hesitate!   This is the second time I've trusted Said Tours for a day trip to Tangier from Tarifa. At the port of Tarifa, they gave us all the necessary information. Our guide, Omar, was waiting for us there and accompanied us throughout the day. He was very professional, fun, and charming. The private car was spotless, very new, and comfortable. It was a comprehensive excursion with visits to the Medina, the Caves of Hercules, a camel ride on the beach, and lunch at La Medina Restaurant. The food was exquisite, and the service was excellent.   After traveling to southern Spain several times, my friends and I decided that on this trip we would finally book a day excursion to Tangier from Tarifa—and it turned out to be the absolute highlight of our vacation! With ferry tickets and lunch included, the entire experience was seamless from the start. All we had to do was meet the representative at the ferry port, and everything was taken care of. Once in Tangier, we explored different areas of the city while Mohammed shared fascinating history, cultural insights, and local knowledge that truly brought the experience to life. One of the most memorable stops was at the point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea—an incredible photo opportunity. We also enjoyed a camel ride along the beach, which was such a fun and unique experience. Back in the city, we were treated to a delicious traditional lunch in the kasbah, followed by visits to several wonderful local shops where we purchased spices and a beautiful rug. Due to inclement weather and ferry cancellations, we had to reschedule our original date. Said and Mohammed were incredibly responsive, staying in close contact with us and making the entire process stress-free. Their communication and professionalism ensured we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. I can’t recommend them highly enough if you’re considering a visit to Tangier!

  An amazing cultural experience! Before the trip started, the communications with the operator were great. All coordinations were explained well and easy to follow. Our guide and driver super friendly and very knowledgeable. They taught us about their culture, food, language and country history. Very eye opening. Each spot we visited had a great story. Our favorite parts were the camels, Hercules cave was also impressive and of course the lunch. The owner greeted us upon arrival and had great chats with him. We ended the tour with a trip to the local market. We left some good presents to remember the trip.

  This tour was not just a highlight of this trip but a highlight in a lifetime of travel. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Muhammad is an extraordinary guide, very kind, attentive and full of truly interesting information. This tour is so well organized. Every detail is carefully planned to create an absolutely magical day. The camel ride on the beach was so beautiful, and the caves are also stunning. We loved getting to meeting the owner, Lahrassi Said, and have lunch at his son's lovely restaurant. The day ended with a walk through the Medina -- an experience we won't forget.   Excellent! This is our second time visiting Tangier with this tour company. Muhammed provided an absolutely seamless and charming experience. The ferry from Tarifa is a pleasure. Our sons (11 and 14) had an amazing day!!

  We originally booked for a specific date, but Said personally reached out ahead of time to explain the weather situation and suggested adjusting the date so we could have the best possible experience. His communication was excellent from start to finish: prompt, clear, and very friendly. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about providing a quality tour and not just “going through the motions.” When it became clear that we wouldn’t be able to make the tour at all because of continued bad weather, Said was beyond understanding and accommodating. The cancellation process was easy and stress-free, which we truly appreciated while traveling. Based on his professionalism, kindness, and customer care, we feel confident recommending Said. We will absolutely return to Tarifa/Tangier and rebook with him in the future. If you’re looking for a guide who truly puts his guests first, Said is the one.
