The visit lasted roughly three hours and the guide delivered on all the itinerary points. Aziza was knowledgable and provided relevant information throughout the tour. She also catered to specific questions and was kind enough to also take pictures. The information provided was at the right level : sufficient to get a good understanding of the city and Uzbek history and culture. Overall, a very pleasant tour.

The tour was not informative enough about Tashkent city: its culture, history, people and basic trivia. I have travelled to over 80 countries. Over the past two years alone I have done many walking tours across four continents. Normally a walking tour is highly informative. This tour was more for there to be someone to take your photos with very little information provided. Perhaps it should be marketed as an Instagram walking tour. I have no complaints. It just wasn't what I am accustomed to. On the positive side the guide is happy to take many photos of you with scenic backgrounds.

I had a wonderful walk to the highlights with a mixture of special and entertaining anecdotes .a great start of a trip to get an important taste of Tashkent. Also Aziza surprised me by recommending some excellent addresses leading to some wonderful experiences.

Booked this walking tour with Aziza during a free day before a wider tour of Uzbekistan. Because I had gotten in at 3 am and was jet-lagged (which I informed her about ahead of time), she was very gracious about starting later especially when I messed up the timing, forgot to eat, and had to arrive late. We started off in Chorsu Bazaar and then headed into the subway system, which I loved and wouldn't have gotten to see otherwise. From there, she adapted the tour to show me some of the more interesting Soviet Era sites and popular neighborhoods, giving me the fascinating history of the Russian/Soviet occupation from disgraced royals in exile to the cotton scandal caused by the USSR. She was attentive, able to answer my questions easily no matter how complex, and was good at communicating overall. And lucky for me, Aziza was informed of a performance of folk music at a conservatory/university near the Hotel Uzbekistan, so the tour ended with a marvelous set of performances of traditional music from local students, and apparently some famous musicians and singers. The conservatory is hoping to do more performances for foreigners, so hopefully more folks can get a taste of traditional Uzbek culture too. Thank you, Aziza!

I took two tours from the same company and loved it Most guides give general information while this company has guides who can go deep into history and tell about ancient time. Tashkent is very interesting.

I cannot recommend this tour. The guide was unprofessional, spending most of the time looking at herself in the mirror and fixing her hair, with very little engagement or enthusiasm. She seemed disinterested and bored with the job. When I mentioned that I preferred to end the tour after 40 minutes and continue on my own, her main concern was whether I would leave a negative review. I suggested she take a training course if she truly wants to be a tour guide and develop passion and care for her work.

I really liked the tour! My guide was pleasant, kind, and spoke excellent English. I took the tour on my first day in the city, and it was a perfect introduction, especially because I received great recommendations and advice from my guide for the rest of my stay in the city.
