It was not as advertised. The first food stop was charcuterie with cheese as promised. The second stop was a cheese board with wine and the third stop was the same as the first. The promised first course specialty and dessert did not happen as apparently the place was closed. Not much variety for a food tour. Very disappointed!

We did this tour towards the end of the tourist season in Aosta, therefore a number of the places the tour guide planned to go were closed. In fact we were the only 2 people on the tour. However we certainly ate well where we stopped. The cheese shop was probably the high point. The tour guide was born in Aosta and gave us history of the area.

CATIA was a fabulous host who shared her knowledge of the food and wines of the Valle d'Aosta. The food was plentiful and delicious and we even had the chance to try and aged, hard, strongly flavoured cheese. Don't think I'd choose to eat it again but I was grateful for the chance to try it. My favourite dish was a delicious risotto with walnut and pear.

Our guide Katya was really great. We asked for a guide who speaks French and Katya speaks that language very well. Place visits that we would not have made on our own.

Our guide has a lot of knowledge about the culture of his region. Tastings of wines, cold cuts, cheeses and typical dishes were of high quality. We enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot about the Aosta Valley which helped us plan our activities for the week.

Thora was fantastic! We were able to eat and drink our way through Aosta cuisine while learning about the rich history of the Aosta Valley. Thora was able to share her immense knowledge of food and the region while keeping the attention of our two kids (9 and 11)! Quite a feat!! Cannot recommend Thora or this tour enough. We were staying in Chamonix on vacation and wanted to experience Italy. Best decision of our trip!!

We did a food tour with Thor for my partners birthday. Thor was amazing, super knowledgeable on not only the food but the history of Aosta. The food we had was exceptional, which was accompanied with some lovely wine! Amazing value for money. Highly recommend and another big thanks to Thor for making the tour so good!

It was a wonderful evening with Thora. She had a lot to say about Aosta and of course about the local specialities. All the dishes on offer were of high quality and extremely tasty. She also took intolerances into consideration. This was a real enrichment for our holiday in the Aosta Valley. Thank you very much!

We had a fab food tour with Thora in Aosta. Our favourite part was the underground cheese experience, which was really special. Thora was extremely knowledgeable and we learned lots about the history and culture of the area. It made us appreciate the valley and its wonders even more. We would highly recommend this tour!
