Bolzano food tour is a walking tour around the centre of Bolzano. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities and he will make try the real local taste and flavours.

Our tour is a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.

Please, note that the tour is always run in English & Italian, German and other languages upon request.

Here we will visit a traditional Bolzano bar. Here, you can taste delicious canapés with speck and Bauernschinken. Speck is uncooked, salted, and smoked pork that has been aged anywhere from six months to two years. It is incredibly flavored with a variety of spices that make it so delicious. Often served with the traditional bread types and pickled cucumber. Bauernschinken is a cooked ham flavoured with the same spices used in the speck process, a unique and tasty cold cut.

Sharon was our guide. She did a fantastic job showing us around downtown Bolzano and taking us to several fun restaurants where we ate delicious local food. We also had a beer tasting at a local bar. Very fun way to spend time in Bolzano!

We had a very nice evening with our knowledgable host Sharon, only thing I would have done different is to have done the tour on the 1st night we were in town rather than the 2nd. We learned a lot about the different sites in town as well as the evening atmosphere.

We were two, Sharon was very kind and very good at giving us all the information about the places visited and the food. appetizers (choice between two "canapés") and a pretzel, wine,, water, first course (canederli or spatzle) tasting of 6 beers and ice cream, each dish in a different place, divided between the characteristic of the place and the modern. all great. Thank you.

We enjoyed the variety of foods we sampled. It was a nice mix. Our Guide Sharon was delightful. She educated us not only on the food of the region, but the history and culture as well.

Small but interesting old town of Bolzano, a 3-hour tour with historical notes but above all gastronomic tastings of the place, with aperitif in the old tavern and lunch in an old brewery, etc etc. etc. The girl who accompanied us nice and well prepared Rating 9/10
