Quite an enjoyable ride, not too long, mostly on bike paths, to a Parmesan cheese maker. The process was fascinating and our guide was knowledgeable and did not rush us through, so we had time to appreciate how much physical labor is involved (and why real Parmesan cheese costs so darn much).

This tour was as informative as it was fun and good exercise. The round trip was about 12 km and almost all flat. Davide made sure we were all safe in city traffic but much of it was on a bike path. Parma motorists are very respectful of bicyclists. The tour of the Parmigiano Reggiano “factory” was fantastic. I never knew these rounds were made all by hand. The process is fascinating. Highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely wonderful day. We spent 5 hours with Davide, leisurely 30 minute ride out to the cheese producer and a full tour of the facility. Davide is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our many questions! Cheese tasting after the factory tour, then shopping if you wish for cheese, meats, honey etc . Bring money and water bottles if you like, he will provide a panier for the bike. We then saw the local rugby field and rode around Parma seeing sights then to lunch of delicious Lambrusco and meats at a small restaurant. Back to the bike rental shop and goodbye to new friends! Thanks Davide

Amazing experience and a good hearty ride to a Parmigiana cheese factory. Followed by a trip into town to see the major sites. Then was welcome to have a sampling of aperrtivi-local ham/salami with a local wine. Simone spent a good 4 hours with us. It's his company and the pride shows through. He deserves a hearty tip for the above and beyond! James/Gioccomo

Had a great time! Davide is friendly and knowledgeable about the parmesan cheese factory. The biking through the city can be a little stressful with cars and busses and whatnot, but totally doable and Davide is attentive to the needs of the group.
