What To Expect

Rhumerie de Saint Aubin

You will start your tour at the typical colonial estate, Domaine des Aubineaux, which dates back from 1819. Enter this ancient estate colonial house of the French occupation which has been now transformed into a restaurant. At the Plantation House, you will get acquainted with the production of vanilla and anthurium flowers. You will be entitled to join a visit to the artisanal rum production of the estate and Rum tasting at the end of your visit. You may wish to buy some rum and sugar at the estate souvenir shop.

Bois Cheri Tea Factory and Tea Museum

The next part of your excursion will be at the Tea Plantation House of Bois Chéri for lunch and tea tasting at the plantation’s chalet. After your lunch, you will be entitled to join a visit at the Tea Factory and Museum. Enjoy your day!
