If you want a local to show you around using a mix of humour, stories of Belgium & its history and genuine tips & tricks to get to know Brussels quickly: look no further. Together we have many years of experience in doing exactly that.
The city has a rich history and transformed into the capital of Belgium and of Europe. Brussels is hard to describe as it's not just a city. It's more like a concept (like Belgium itself). There's an enormous amount of things to consider: it's the birthplace of world-famous comics, there are 80 museums, politicians from 27 countries, 3 official languages and even more unofficial ones, it was at the heart of both WWI and WWII and people from 184 different nationalities are living in it.
And of course, we'll make sure that afterwards you know about beer, chocolate, fries and waffles.
Join us and we'll introduce you to everything Brussels has to offer!

This tour made us fall in love with Brussels. Tom had the perfect balance of history, comedy, and storytelling while taking us around the city. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Belgium. Oh and a bonus is the food and drink recommendations we got from our local tour guide. All the rest our meals with be “Tom-approved!”

Tom was a great guide. Not only did he provide interesting historical background, interspersed with humor, he also shared practical local insider tips with us about Brussels while we are here visiting. Our tour was well paced and he even managed to work in a quick bio break which was helpful. If I were going to be here longer I would do another tour (different topic) with Tom again.

This tour was a great way to get oriented to Brussels. We got a good sense of the history and culture, gained new perspectives on some spots on everybody's list of things to see, and were alos introduced to some more obscure and out of the way places. Tom was a great guide. Very knowledgable, funny, and attentive to his tour group's needs. We appreciated his personal perspective on a range of topics, from beer to food, to the darker side of Belgian colonialism.

Fantastic tour. Tom was funny and informative. I've done free walking tours across 10+ countries in Europe, and this one was definitely in the top 3!

Tom was a fantastic guide and gave a great tour! Informative, entertaining, and properly paced; can’t really ask for more out of a city intro. He gave some great recommendations for local spots to visit on the rest of my trip as well.

Our guide Tom is very knowledgeable and provided information/answered questions regarding the history of Brussels (and Belgium in general), beer, chocolate, Belgian friets, Belgian Waffles, and more. The route was well planned, hitting many points of interest and incorporated a quick (free) bathroom break for anyone that needed. He had quite a few recommendations for the group - places to eat, drink - whatever you asked about. My recommendation is for Tom to have a way of more easilty sharing this information via some sort of link to a file. I just came from a city tour of Barcelona and our guide there had one for us.
