Batu Caves
Batu Caves is an iconic and popular tourist attraction which is must to visit. A limestone outcrop located just north of Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines. Its main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, besides a steep 272 climb up its steps to finally view the stunning skyline of the City Centre. Monkeys playing around the caves. P.S. Steps up to the caves is not wheel chair or stroller accessible.
Jadi Batek Gallery
Jadi Batik is one of the oldest batik and handicrafts centre in Klang Valley. Visit the gallery and you'd learn that batik is not simply a cloth with an elaborate piece of design. Jadi is the place you need to visit if you are looking forward to enjoy a holistic experience in Malaysian batik and handicrafts.

Unfortunately initial guide was in an accident before arriving: pick up was delayed by 90 minutes which completely through out schedule. Batu cave temple recently had major Hindu festival a few days ago, so was filled with trash, refuse and detritus, making the experience worse than typical. Add to that disorganisation by tour leader around timing, late return by fellow travellers and unexpected drop off due to parking closures meant 60 minutes became 90 minutes at the first stop. Second stop further deteriorated time by another 15 minutes: no opportunity to enter National Mosque. So lunch was pushed back until after 2:00pm instead of schedule: we left to pursue our own plans. Extremely frustrating and poor experience, coupled with limited communication: cannot recommend this tour or company based on this experience.

Great visit with a good guide who explains in great detail and an air-conditioned vehicle that picks you up from the hotel directly.

A disappointment. They never took us to the caves or waterfalls shown in pictures. All dirty and unpersonalized.

We were picked up from our hotel at 8.30am for a transfer to a coach at 9am. The guide was really informative and discussed politics, history and religion. A good mix of sights and activities. A few things were problematic for me. We were dropped off in Chinatown with the information that it was 10 minutes from our hotel on foot. In fact it was a 40 minute walk so it would be best to be up front with the correct information. In addition all up the day was from 8.30am to 3.30pm with no designated food time and no eating on the bus. That’s 6 hours. Perhaps this could also be addressed by letting people know upfront or including a designated lunch time. I get low blood sugar and it was a bit tough. Other than this I really enjoyed the day.

Stevebwas a great driver, guide and also our photographer. He planned our tour and showed us the most beautiful places of Kuala Lumpur. I'd hire him back anytime. He was super friendly, about on time and very patient when we took the 20th photo of the same setting. He explained a lot about Malaysia and the sights. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
