What To Expect
Embark on an unforgettable tour of the canals of Xochimilco! Aboard a decorated trajinera, you’ll enjoy a tequila tasting, learn how to prepare unique cocktails and savor pulque, the legendary “drink of the gods.” To close with a golden clasp, a mezcal test will complement this experience. Along the way, the drinks in the boat will be unlimited: tequila, beer, water and sodas, to maintain the festive atmosphere. In addition, you will make a 40-minute stop at a small chinampa, where you can enjoy a typical Mexican dish. If you wish, you will have the option to purchase additional drinks in the island cafeteria. The fun continues with traditional games like lottery and pyrinole, where you will learn Mexican slang while connecting with other travelers. Featuring vibrant music, floating shack dining options (additional cost) and picture-perfect scenery, you’ll experience a tradition-filled celebration. At the end, you’ll take a little song as a souvenir, and if you want more, join the micheladas tour of the CDMX (extra cost). Xochimilco is waiting to surprise you!

5.00Thank you Camila & Giancarlo for a memorable & 'shocking' experience! We were running so late to the party due to traffic and our taxi driver getting lost - we were stressing out and felt bad for holding up our group. Thank you Daniella for your patience & waiting for us in the parking lot! Right when we got on board, we had to take a shot of tequila! Totally fair! We had a great time playing drinking games, learning the history about Xochimilco, and overall getting to know the people in our group through drinking, dancing, and singing! There is a chance you might get picked to sing karaoke! You do have a choice of drinking tequila, beers, or both! (Unlimited!) Well worth the price if you can drink a lot! Just come prepare so you don't get drunk too fast. There is a restroom when you stop at the chinampa for tacos - ladies, for your awareness you may get a work out having to squat using the potty hole. The restroom is fairly clean, better than using a porty potty. The tacos were decent, I never tried hibiscus tacos so it was neat to try. Definitely try the kalaheo (?) which is a Mexican version of a coffee cocktail - it was very unique for me and tasted great! Over all Camila knows how to throw a party. I thought it was very considerate for her and Giancarlo to translate English to Spanish for our Spanish speaking friends on board just to include everyone. I love the little souvenirs they gave us - a postcard and we get to keep our shot glass, it was a nice touch to end our party. Definitely book with them and make sure to tip them well if you do! I hope you will have a good time like we did. :)
