What To Expect

Birkat Al Mouz

Birkat Al Mouz (Old Village, Falaj System & Specialty Coffee Experience) Start the journey in one of Oman’s most famous ancient villages at the foot of the mountains. Guests will walk through old mud-brick houses, banana plantations, and the UNESCO-listed falaj irrigation system. You will explain how locals historically managed water distribution in farming and daily life, and how this system shaped Omani agriculture and settlements. Travelers will have time for photos of the old village ruins and green plantations with mountain views. Specialty Coffee Experience: At this stop, travelers will also enjoy a specialty coffee tasting experience, where freshly brewed coffee is served in a unique local style. This gives guests a relaxing start to the journey while enjoying the atmosphere of the old village.

Jebel Akhdar

Jebel Akhdar (Al Jabal Al Akhdar – The Green Mountain) Drive up to the famous Green Mountain, known for its cool climate, terraced farms, and dramatic canyon views. Guests will stop at panoramic viewpoints overlooking villages built into the mountain cliffs. You will explain the agricultural life of the mountain, including rose farming, pomegranates, and traditional irrigation terraces. Travelers can take scenic photos, enjoy fresh mountain air, and optionally explore short walking areas in the villages.
