Fabulous presentation, we decided not to get the translation version, instead to hear it in the original Vietnamese. According to a local even the younger Viet will have difficulty with the older language style None the less, worth the visit?

Fun show, suitable for all ages. Lasts about 50 minutes, made up of short skits, tv screens to the side explain each skit in English. No air con, bring a fan if it’s a warm evening.

Really fun. Show is in Vietnamese but you don't really need the translation to follow along. A lot of funny parts too.

This was part of an organised day long tour around Hanoi - in fact the last element of the tour. I was quite sceptical at first, however, it turned out to be a charming and well put together show. The crew certainly know the show’s routine very well, with great timing throughout. The accompanying musicians are also very good. Yes it is very touristy, but the show is based on history and old stories, so you (I) have to leave your cynicism at the theatre door and take it for what it is. The theatre was sold out when we went, so clearly it is popular. I’m glad that I went.

We saw a wonderful show at the Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. It was an authentic and fascinating cultural experience, perfect for discovering a typical Vietnamese tradition. The live music, performed with traditional instruments, creates an immersive atmosphere, while the artists demonstrate great skill in maneuvering the puppets on the water. A fun, original show suitable for all ages. An activity absolutely recommended for those visiting Hanoi!

Very nice show, full of emotions. Possibility to rent audio guides to better understand the paintings. We recommend.

Really excellent. For all ages. No real reason to upgrade to VIP but it was cool to sit close. Music is amazing, puppetry is magical, location and theater are perfect. Make sure to see this… you can’t be disappointed.
