We had an amazing time! Our guide was friendly, funny and very enthusiastic about the northern lights. He helped us get amazing views and pictures, and cooked us a great meal with plenty of snacks. The length of the tour was dictated by us, so we were able to stay as long as we wanted. Definitely good value for money.

Amazing tour, can’t recommend enough! Our guide was funny, kind and knowledgeable. Conversation was easy. We saw the northern lights throughout the night and they were stunning - our guide was proactive in taking pictures and offered before we even had to ask. He sent us the photos the same night. We had a lovely bonfire and camp stools to sit on. We were given delicious chicken soup which was freshly made by the guide that day, who was a chef before becoming a guide. We also had fruit, biscuits, bread, Norwegian cheese and cured reindeer sausage. We had delicious hot chocolate and lemon tea. The car we travelled in was new, spacious and clean. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

We booked the Aurora night tour in a small group of 4. Our guide Charly was very friendly, but the car for the tour was much too small, so we sat like sardines pressed together in the car. For a tour of several hours this is an imposition. Both the name of the guide and the departure time have been corrected several times. Charly finally took us to a good place where we could see the aurora borealis well. However, there were neither warm anoraks to wear, nor snacks, nor fruit, nor photos taken by the guide, as stated in the description of the tour. Since the tour is not cheap compared to other providers, this is absolutely disappointing and unacceptable. We feel ‘ripped off’ and would never book through this tour operator again.

Our aurora borealis tour was a great experience, even though the weather wasn’t on our side. The sky was cloudy, and unfortunately, we barely saw the northern lights. However, the tour itself was well-organized, and our guide, Damian, was fantastic. Damian was knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to answer our questions, both during the tour and even afterward—he responded to some of our queries two days later (related to local activities, restaurants and such) and also gave indications on how to chase the northern lights and what apps and webs to use, which was truly appreciated! His passion and dedication made the experience enjoyable despite the conditions. If you’re lucky with clear skies, I’m sure this tour would be incredible. Thank you, Damian, for your great guidance!

Amazing evening chasing the clear sky to see the aurora. Great trip and our guide, Damian, was brilliant. He looked after us very well and shared lots of interesting information about the area as well as clearly being very knowledgeable. He helped us track down the aurora and get some amazing photos. Highly recommend this trip.

I was looking forward to this tour because it was a small group (4-8 persons). There were four of us, and this was the first tour I booked about 2 months before our planned trip to Tromso. We booked for January 15, we had other plans for the two other nights we were in Tromso. On January 9, I received an email asking if we wanted to change dates to January 14 or 16, which we could not. On January 12, we received another email that our trip was cancelled, with no explanation why. The weather was bad, rainy all week, so perhaps that was the reason. We were given a refund, and we did manage to find another tour with a larger group, and we did see the Northern Lights.

1st disappointment- big car broke down so can only pick 4 people instead of 5 people based on our booking. No choice, my daughter didn’t join the trip. They refunded one person cost. Good thing was we manage to catch the Aurora. Guide took photos for us from his phone. 2nd disappointment, the photos he took for us and supposedly the company will do some editing and send to us never happened even after a few messages to them. Only responded once that they will check with guide and after chasing again no more response.

Dissappinting trip. We was picked up around 7:30 and headed roughly half an hour outside Tromso. We were joined by another couple so had to squeeze 5 adults into a car. I understand the Aurora can be very unpredictable and therefor this review is a summary of the trip itself and not our sighting of the Aurora itself. We had excellent conditions with some clouds. We pulled over into a field by the edge of a main road and after an hour of seeing some faint action we were told we were going to 'chase' them instead. The guide seemed to have little more knowledge than myself as we were told he'd been taking this tour for just over a year and following the same app I was using. We drove for roughly 15 minutes before the other couple spotted them and then processed to pull over onto the side of a fairly busy main road. In between the passing cars we had some unprofessional photos taken through an iPhone, which after several ignored attempts and 3 weeks later have still not been sent. We were then dropped back at our hotel around 11 very disappointed. Compared to other tours we experienced while in Tromso, it was clear there was a vast difference in knowledge and professionalism from the guides.

Had a wonderful tour with Matt. He communicated ahead of time that a storm was coming through and it may be difficult to see the Aurora but would do his best. Our family of four was promptly picked up from our hotel. Matt built a fire and kept our young daughters entertained with hot chocolate and snacks. Despite the weather and low probability, we were able to see the lights and Matt took wonderful pictures of our family which he shared after the trip. If was a wonderful ending to our trip to Tromso.

Paid 3.274 for nothing! We had booked this trip during a trip to Tromsø. The guide told us during the tour that there was less than 1% chance of seeing the northern lights, and yet they completed the tour. So it became a ride around the area of over 3 hours in a pretty ordinary private owned car. No camp fire, foam fides, hot drinks, as otherwise stated at the purchase. Subsequently, we contacted the company that we wanted a refund or a partial refund, as we had not received what we had paid for. Of course no one can guarantee the weather, but when the guide knew at the beginning that there would be under 1% chance, they should have given us the opportunity to cancel or move the trip to another time. The company simply writes a standard answer back, and rejects any refunds. I absolutely can NOT recommend using this trip - definitely choose another provider. It's pure theft.
