Ashley is incredibly knowledgeable about all things Hong Kong from its history, culture, sightseeing and all the best spots to eat like a local. She is a fountain of knowledge and provided us with travel information, tips and tricks, and recommendations both before and after our scheduled tour to make the most of our time in Hong Kong, which was so helpful! 5.00Ashely is one of the most interesting, experienced tour guides I have ever worked with, and I have taken LOTS of tours. I learned so much history about Hong Kong. She took me to places I had never known before. I travel to Hong Kong every Nov for business, but always have free days. I usually roam around near my hotel, but have never found anything of interest besides Designer stores and chain stores. Ashley took me to 2 areas, where the locals shop. One area had only Hong Kong designers, and I spent 2 hours wandering that area. I will be booking Ashley every year!

5.00Our walking tour of Hong Kong with Ashley was one of the highlights of our visit. Ashley met us at our hotel in Kowloon and we were off on our day’s adventure. Along with our two feet, we used the metro, ferry, trams (both “Ding Ding” and the Peak Tram), taxis, escalators to navigate our day. We started in the Statue Square, learning about the Feng Shui vibes in the area. Ashley introduced us to a great food hall, BaseHall, tucked inside the Jardin House, where we had the first of many small snacks to fuel our day. Over the next several hours, we ate, drank (tea and tea-beer!) and walked our way around many wonderful spots on Hong Kong island that we may have never found without Ashley’s expert, local knowledge. And that knowledge kept coming, through engaging stories about the history of the island and its eccentric past leaders. It was then time to taxi our way up to Victoria Peak. What a view! We were lucky to have a clear day and, thanks to the “secret spot” that Ashley brought us to, it was virtually all to ourselves. We then took the Peak Tram back down, followed by the Star Ferry back from the island. We finished our day back in Kowloon, sampling masala tea from a café tucked inside the Chung King Mansion. What a great tour with a rock-star guide. Thank you, Ashley, for a great day in Hong Kong!

From the very start when I booked the tour (which was months ahead of our trip), she reached out immediately to introduce herself and solicit feedback on how she can make our tour the best it could be. This was our first time in Hong Kong and she made it such a memorable, lasting experience. She was such an expert in sharing her knowledge about Hong Kong, its history and the rich culture. As an added bonus, she introduced us to some fabulous cuisine and highly rated restaurants. We also visited so many interesting areas of the city, traveling every mode of transportation offered, from business districts to the fresh markets to shopping and finally an amazing Chi Lin Nunnery where we explored the Nan Lian Garden. I highly recommend spending time with Ashley, whether you are new to Hong Kong or visiting again. She has a wealth of knowledge, is so friendly and personable and can turn a simple trip into "The Trip of a Lifetime"! Thanks Ashley, you are phenomenal!
