Overall, this food tour is Notting to Do with the hold tour issue, the only reason you must choose the right Guide to conducting this 10 food tasting tour? My Guide Marcus he did an excellent job providing good food he even gave us more food than this tour, which indicates drinks, fruit, and history given by him Make us know more about singapore Have your own signature type food prepared and cook. we really enjoyed this food tour very much Remember, choosing the right person is the issue, not this tour Some more we visited 3 different places: Arad St,Little India, last chinatown the tickets is also provided by Marcus once again I would like to say a big Thank you Marcus for that great tour

This is an opportunity to look at Singapore from a local’s perspective. The food locations were amazing and the historical background narratives were informative. I enjoyed this tour very much!

We paid almost $500 for this private tour and for the price we expected a lot more. All the reviews must be paid or fake. We had a fried banana and a drink to share and that was all we got in the Muslim quarter. Then we had to pay our own train fares to Little India to sample a tiny bowl of watery curry with no meat or veg in it and 2 wafer thin pancakes and 2 drinks. By now according to the tour guide we had 6 of or 10 tastings already. There are lovely hawker centres, but we were taken to the cheapest and dirtiest ones. We had already found better places to eat on our first day in Singapore. This tour smells 100% like a money grabbing scam. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR, YOU WILL BE SADLY DISAPPOINTED AND RIPPED OFF BIG TIME.

The only complaint is that we were not told to turn up hungry!! Our guide was Marcus and he explained the history of Singapore as well as the local areas we visited. The Arab quarter, Little India and Chinatown. The food was not only delicious, it was plentiful. 6 adults and we struggled to eat half, let alone all the food. Marcus also catered for various dietary requirements, from vegetarian to lactose intolerant. An exceptionally good tour and tour guide. Communication prior to the tour was excellent. I would highly recommend this tour, and Marcus, but beware…..have an empty stomach!

I just had a wonderful experience throughout my time at this private food tour. My experience was fruitful as I got to try many new foods as well as the history behind it. My guide, Marcus, is an excellent communicator and knowledgeable person. He made the tour seem very easy going but professional at the same time. If you are looking for something transparent and genuine, I would highly recommend Marcus. - Michael Smith

We started our day in little India with a traditional iced tea (poured tea leaves and condensed milk ) and it simply got better from there. Wondering the streets not only did we get food samples but we got history, culture and modern references to the terrain around us. This tour gave us confidence to go into a hawker market and try more adventurous foods . We loved it Our tour guide was Stefan who we highly recommended.

Great insight into the 3 districts that have influenced the food and culture of Singapore. The food we tasted was interesting and tasty. However, there was far too much and although varied, a lot of it was rice, pastry, starch based. Of course if this is the traditional cuisine, that is understood but maybe smaller portions would have suited us better. The guide was excellent in terms of his knowledge and explanations and happy to answer our many questions.

Our guide Stephan started whining even before we met up. He didn’t want to take us to Little India because it would be crowded. He also wanted to make sure we understood it was small bites nothing fancy. Informed us our budget was not enough for him to share a good tour. He did make it better in China town with some Indian food and some nicer Chinese food. Overall not worth it.
