4.00Great insight into the 3 districts that have influenced the food and culture of Singapore. The food we tasted was interesting and tasty. However, there was far too much and although varied, a lot of it was rice,pastry, starch based. Of course if this is the traditional cuisine, that is understood but maybe smaller portions would have suited us better. The guide was excellent in terms of his knowledge and explanations and happy to answer our many questions.

3.00Our guide Stephan started whining even before we met up. He didn’t want to take us to Little India because it would be crowded. He also wanted to make sure we understood it was small bites nothing fancy. Informed us our budget was not enough for him to share a good tour. He did make it better in China town with some Indian food and some nicer Chinese food. Overall not worth it.

5.00Marcus was an amazing tour guide. I booked the tour to experience food in Singapore, but we learnt so much more. His knowledge of the city, country and its history was very impressive. The tour was well guided, there was a good amount of walking, which is definitely needed with the amount of delicious food we had the opportunity to taste. Highly recommend.

4.00We enjoyed our guide’s local knowledge and managed to comfortably fit in the tour which was a little under 3 hours. We counted 8 tastings and had one drink. While there was one highlight in the food tastings the others were fairly standard. Our guide left in a bit of a hurry and didn’t bother to ask if we knew our way back to our hotel.
