The Ardennes offensive of Winter 1944, and the famous battle of the Bulge.

This interactive tour tells the big stories of battle, tactics, and commanders and the small ones of the soldiers, their daily routine, their fear, freezing cold in the foxholes, and wet nights in the trenches.

Travelers often customize these tour locations, adding battle sites of their past relatives who fought in the Ardennes offensive.

we will start our tour in the Gestapo HQ and the Baron De Selys Longchamps statue in Brussels. who, as a RAF pilot, bombed the Gestapo HQ in January 1943, We will hear the story behind the man and the attack and why he was demoted in rank following his action

We drive 1 hour South of Brussels and stop near the Citadelle of Namur. To see the breath-taking view of the capital of Wallonia on the Meuse river, and we understand why was so crucial for the German offensive

Outstanding guide and experience. Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended. One of the best excursions I’ve had out of dozens I’ve booked through here. Best trip around for history lovers. The guide is again wonderful in all regards.

Our tour with Levi was absolutely exceptional and truly unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up promptly at our hotel, everything ran smoothly and professionally. Levi guided us through a variety of fascinating site, just as described in the tour description, and at each stop, he shared insightful stories and historical context that brought the Battle of the Bulge to life. It was a long tour but a great tour. Levi was our guide and he was great. We saw sites on the way to Bastogne related to the battle and a few other sites not related but very interesting anyway. Spent about 2.5 hrs. at museum and saw several Band of Brothers sites also including Foy. Saw other sites in Bastogne.

My father and I got to spend the day with Fabiano and it was a memory we will cherish forever. We spent all day riding around with Fabiano going from location to location, each of which he was very well informed and prepared with interesting stories. Fabiano clearly has a passion for the Battle of the Bulge and is willing to go into great detail about a fascinating moment in history.

This tour was Awesome and I will highly recommend him to my family and friends. Levi was a very informative, easy going and patient guide in allowing my family to have sufficient time to explore the various sites we visited. Our group was only a small group of 3 and Levi made the effort to also include the opportunity to allow us to experience some of the local culture in the small towns we visited

…with one of the most well informed, personable and engaging guides we’ve had the pleasure of spending time with, who truly brought the past to life. I booked this tour for my husband, on a special birthday trip for him. Little did I know that I would find it just as fascinating as he did, all because of the day Levi planned for us. My husband had family that fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and Levi brought the battle to life for us, in a deeply meaningful and compelling way. Levi paced the day to our asks and needs (including a quick detour to Luxembourg) and spent so much time with us connecting on the things we found the most interesting (like my husband’s fascination with tanks and how they were constructed). Levi truly made the day incredibly special for us and he even followed up with links to books and films that he thought we would enjoy after our tour. This is a guide that really cares about his subject matter but more importantly cares about people. I cannot say enough good things about this tour or this guide. Thank you Levi! - Michelle and Paul

We were fortunate to participate in Levi’s Battle of the Bulge tour last week and thoroughly enjoyed the entire time spent visiting numerous historical sites. Levi did an excellent job covering all major aspects of this pivotal battle and even tailored the tour to include several tanks since my son has a keen interest in both Shermans and Panzers. Overall, I would rate this tour an “A+” and highly recommend you book Levi for a memorable and informative experience.

Levi gave us a great daylong tour, highlighted by Bastogne. On the way there, we visited a number of interesting historic sites, which gave us a good sense of the size of the Germans' advance during the Battle of the Bulge. He also gave us plenty of time to really enjoy the Bastogne Museum on our own, and then supplemented our visit to Bois Jacques with pertinent clips from Band of Brothers that helped create a real sense of the stunning solemnity of the Americans' many days, surrounded, freezing and huddling in foxholes with dwindling supplies. Most of all, Levi is engaging and knowledgeable, and he made our day together quite enjoyable.

Levi was without a doubt the best viator tour guide we have ever had. He listened tour our needs both for the tour and our physical needs, took us to sights we never thought we would see and explained the history through not only his eyes but also with an unbiased perspective. It was definitely a private tour with our needs/wishes at the forefront and Levi made sure he had fulfilled all of our wishes by the end of the day. The best part was that he said he enjoyed the day as much as we did. I can’t say enough about Levi and the fact that you can’t go wrong booking a viator tour anywhere in the world!
