The Express Whale Watch/ Molokini Snorkel is a great way to combine snorkeling at Molokini with a whale watching adventure on a fast and maneuverable rigid hulled inflatable. We almost always make it to Molokini on this one, but if conditions are not favorable, a shoreline alternate may be selected.
Your passage to and from Molokini will take you through waters laden with Humpback whales with a high percentage of mother/calf/escort pods. Just today a whale surfaced less than ten yards from our boat and lifted her calf out of the water on her head to show us. Awesome! About one hour is devoted to snorkeling, and 1 1/2 hours to passage and whale watching. Beverages and gear are included.

5.00We got to Molokini in 15 minutes and had an hour of awesome snorkeling there before heading to Turtle Town where we saw a couple of enormous turtles. The forecast said it would be windy, but we lucked out and it wasn’t too bad so it was not choppy at all on the water. The two guys running the boat were super friendly. They provided juice, water and some fruit, so no need to pack a snack for a 2 1/2 hour trip.

4.00Don’t go if small boats make you feel uneasy. Book before the whales leave as this was advertised as whale watching but no information stating when this would not be the case.

5.00Wow!!! Ben and Brandon could not have been better hosts!! Surprisingly we had a small group (5). This allowed us tons of extra time and Brandon and Ben did everything they could to fill every minute! We were able to circle the crater and visit 3 different and very distinct areas. Ben was even able to spend some time in the water with us to point things out. They made sure the kids and adults were well taken care of and everyone’s skill level was met. Absolutely the best snorkeling experience I’ve ever had!!

5.00Wonderful experience! We saw whales on way to Molokini (5 in all!) and were even able to hear them underwater at the crater. The snorkeling was great. Fish galore, more sea urchins than you’d think possible, we even saw an eel undulating its way across the bottom. Our crew were fun, helpful and made the experience a blast. If you are on the fence just book it. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

5.00Once we started our trip was very cool, we ride the boat trough very beautiful water, super clean and suddenly we saw whales, mom and a baby it was so cool and finally we ended up over a very special place, where you will be able to swim and see lots of beautiful fish. I love swimming so I enjoyed every second of it. Boat captain and his helper were very friendly!
