Hell-Ville
Visit the Local Markets of Hell-Ville! The markets of Hell-Ville, Nosy Be offer an authentic immersion in Malagasy culture, among bright colors, exotic scents and animated bargaining. This is the place where the local people get their supplies! The Indoor Market (Tsena Mora) is a riot of fresh produce, spices and local crafts, while the Outdoor Market (Tsena Ambony) enchants with traditional clothes, fabrics and objects. Bargaining is a must, cash is needed (euro or ariary, the local currency) and respect for local culture is paramount. The market tour is an unforgettable experience to discover the soul of Nosy Be.
Holy Tree by Nosy Be. The sacred tree of Nosy Be, located in the heart of the island, is a place rich in history and cultural significance. It is an imposing banyan tree whose aerial roots form an intricate structure reminiscent of a cathedral. Its history is linked to local traditions and animist beliefs. During the visit, you can admire its impressive size and discover the stories and legends related to this sacred place. The sacred tree of Nosy Be was planted by the queen of the Sakalava tribe in 1836. Even today, the queen of Nosy Be makes a pilgrimage every year to sacrifice a zebu and receive the blessing of the ancestors. Before approaching the tree, you must take off your shoes and, if you have bare legs, you must wear a pareo.

Quick answers, maximum availability for customizing excursions, reliable, honest, excellent choice of local guides and above all, a lot of professionalism. We would add that, due to health reasons, we were forced to change the calendar the day before for the next day and they gave us maximum flexibility without any pressure. Finally, speaking of the price, if you do the complete package you save even more than dealing directly with the beach boys having all the amenities of a serious group. A way to get to know Nosy Be beyond the beaches. The sacred tree is fascinating, the waterfall is pretty. Very exciting sunset from the top of the mountain with beautiful views. Nice market and relaxing stop at the beach of Andilana, panoramic and suitable for a swim

I had an amazing experience touring Nosy Be with Theo as my private guide! He managed to organize everything I wanted to see in a very short time, and the tour couldn’t have been better. From start to finish, everything was smooth, well-planned, and tailored perfectly to my interests.

The tour was very well accompanied and we always had enough time to see everything in peace. Unlike the tours organized by the shipping company, we were even allowed to feed the lemurs. We can highly recommend the tour!

Lokobe park tour organized very well. Pick up from our hotel with return always by car. Then a beautiful crossing by pirogue, the visit of the park and a great lunch! The park guide was very kind, he made us discover many animals (chameleons, geckos and snakes!) and accompanied us on the walk. The other escorts (driver and local guide) nice, but there was not much communication. We would have appreciated some more information to avoid being assaulted after the canoe to wash your feet on the sand. But otherwise everything went great.
