We were told by Viator that we can use the tour anytime during the week. Which was completely incorrect. We never used the service and still Viator charged us for it.

Once you are on the bus, it's a nice ride. Before going on the bus, it is a nightmare. Wait times are easily 50 minutes as opposed to the 10 minutes advertised. Very little busses pass compared to other companies that use the same stops. Fewer stops and little to no indication on where the stops are which makes it very confusing. There are also less representatives that guide you to the right bus at each stop compared to other companies. We booked the 24h unlimited Hop on hop off. We took it for half a day, but we're never told that the next day most of the bus routes would be canceled for most of the day due road closures for the marathon. We lost 12h of the 24h because of this which was very disappointing since we wanted to do the routes we did not have a chance to do the previous day. Overall, would not take this company again due to all the inconveniences.

should have booked just the river cruise and London Eye experience. The hop on hop off bus was stuck in traffic and not a great experience.

We have traveled all around the world and have always enjoyed taking a hop on hop off bus. London's Big Bus was a disappointment. I asked how long a full trip circuit would take and was told 3 hours and 15 minutes. It took over 5 hours. The bus was over crowded with people standing on both the upper deck and below. The next day (48 hour ticket) we tried again and had driver change and long waits sitting while drivers took a break. But, the London Eye and the River Cruise were OUTSTANDING, highlights of our second day with this company. There are 4 different hoo on hop off companies in London. The other 3 had more buses come by each stop than the Big Bus and we were sorry that we took them because it became a frustrating experience. I gave 4 stars because of the wonderful experiences on the Eye and Riverboat but would have only given One Star if it concerned the hop on hop off portion.

Great value when booked this way. They really worked with my on the times for the eye and even changed my time a few times for me when it became apparent we were going to miss our original scheduled time. The boat was fun. They added commentary and some stories which we appreciated. Now the bus. It was very hot when we went and there was no a/c down below and only small vent windows. We went from stop 35 to stop 16 in nearly 3 hours in our attempt to get to the boat (and then the eye). This isn’t their fault of course but the traffic in London is no joke. We were so hot, and so tired but determined to stay on it as long as we could in our attempt to see as much of the city as possible and still make it to the boat and the eye. At one point our bus driver actually got out and went into a McDonald’s. We had never seen that happen before. He didn’t come out with food, so maybe it was a bathroom stop? All I know is that I was so happy to be off of that hot, sticky bus, and finally make it to the boat.
