Unlock the Secrets of Birmingham’s Haunted Past
The Original Birmingham Ghost Walk — Hotels, Churches & Riots
For over 15 years, we’ve led guests beyond the surface of the city to uncover chilling true stories of murder, mayhem, and spirits that never rest.
Walk in the footsteps of ministers, mobsters, mourners, and madmen as we explore haunted hotels, fire-scarred churches, and the violent history hidden beneath Birmingham’s Southern charm.
You’ll hear tales too strange for fiction — of ghosts, riots, secret tunnels, and the lingering echoes of tragedy that still shape the city today.
This isn’t a scripted show. It’s a researched, guided walk into the shadows of real history — and our most-requested tour.
We’re not a national chain with canned stories — we’re Birmingham’s original local ghost tour, born and raised in the city we haunt.
Dare to discover what still lingers in the streets of Birmingham.

Great tour with David, learned a lot about the city, history and spooky stories. Even we are not English spoken we could follow him easilly and enjoy his crooked humor. 2 hours were over before we knew it. After return to our hotel, the Tutwiler, we followed up his sugestion with the elevator 😱 David and Birmingham Historic Touring comp. Thank you. Highley recomended.

Erica did a great job keeping a large group entertained on an October night! I appreciate that she also worked in some history/touches on the city. Fun experience for a group that travels here regularly for work, gave us a chance to learn more about the city!

This was an excellent way to hear about and see history of Birmingham with spooky elements. David was a great guide and was clearly knowledgeable about the city and region, and there were zero minutes during which our group was bored. We had a small group, but I think that the experience would easily translate to a larger group. If you're thinking about doing this tour or any tour with this organization, I highly recommend it.

Loved this tour. David was super knowledgeable about Birmingham history and ,of course, ghosts of the city. He was very entertaining and told the stories with passion and quirkiness. He even made me look for "dragon eye" in the drains. :-) I go for ghost tours in every city, but this one was one of the best. Highly recommend.

Save your money. We paid $200 for a guide that was clearly high on something, realed of booze, and blew smoke in our face from his pipe. He was semi incoherent and rambled along with many stray thoughts, opinions, and biases thrown into his speech. He repeatedly banged on furnace vents, signs and dumpsters trying to scare the people on the tour. One of his speeches detailed graphic descriptions of how a lobotomy is preformed. The end culminated in a rubber axe being thrown at people. He managed to hit my daughter in the jaw, my other daughter in the stomach and me in the leg.

We had a great time with David last night. He was entertaining, knowledgeable and the right amount of kooky. We really appreciated the historical information about Birmingham. We’ve been on ghost tours all over the world and would definitely recommend this one!

David was an excellent tour guide. We learned a lot about Birmingham in addition to the ghost stories.
