No large bags or suitcases are allowed inside the museum, only handbags or small thin bag packs are allowed through security. Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with 'Skip the Line' or 'No Wait' access. Some specific rooms inside the museum are subjected to a very quiet or restricted right to speak inside, in this cases your guide will provide the information about this places before entering the specific rooms where this rule applies. Some collections may vary along the year.

The British Museum

5.00Steph was amazing! The British Museum has so much history, and I could see it becoming easily overwhelming. Steph meet us right outside, and it took us on a great highlights tour, making sure to ask if we were interested in anything in particular. Steph did a great job connecting us to the history of the pieces in museum and connecting the history that flows between the time periods. She clearly has a lot of knowledge and shared it in a very charismatic way. Honestly, I can’t see doing the British Museum any other way!

5.00Walking through the museum with our guide Ivo was less of a tour and more of a fascinating discussion of human civilization, empires, language, and religion all while seeing exquisite pieces on display. Ivo was passionate about history and wasn’t afraid to address controversial topics. We could have walked with him for hours. He even suggested several podcasts that are focused on history. I would highly recommend requesting Ivo as your guide if you want to dive deeper into history and not just look at artifacts.

5.00Jake C was an incredible guide! He was full of knowledge, and made our 2 1/2 hour tour extremely enjoyable for everyone in our family, which included children, teenagers and adults. Cannot recommend this tour more strongly. Even my husband, who’s tough to impress on a history tour, turned to me halfway through and said, “this is awesome!”
