Join our Prague-native, expert tour guides on our 3-hour Castle Side Beer Tour where we will take you to several of our handpicked favorite pubs!
The Czech Republic is known worldwide for its beer, so if you want to try some of the best beers it has to offer while learning more about the history of beer and getting a fully authentic and traditional pub experience, this is for you.
On this tour, you can expect to taste various beer styles from different breweries stretching from our famous Pilsner Urquell, the very first Pilsner ever created, all the way to an acclaimed micro-brewery inside of a monastery complex!
Aside from just drinking beer, our guides will introduce you to Czech beer and pub culture, and traditional Czech snacks that were made to be the perfect beer accompaniments. On top of all that, this tour takes place around Prague Castle & Malá Strana, so you will have the chance to see the beautiful historical center of Prague.

Strahov Monastery Brewery
After a short tram rides up the hill, we hit our favorite monastery brewery to taste a specialty beer and discuss the local beer industry and beer-making techniques even more.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Adam was very nice, knowledgeable and fun. We could ask him many different questions and gave great recommendations for the rest of our stay. We had a small group, only four people, but that was great! This way, we could talk about all sorts of things. The beers were also good and it was a nice mix of different kinds.

5.00We booked a three hour walking tour without much knowledge and I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was firstly the time went so quickly, secondly we had a nice small intimate international group and finally our tour guide Jacob was fantastic! He catered to all our needs, from dietary requirements to additional details or answering all of our questions. He took us to spots which weren’t full of tourists and areas which were calmer and much quieter! We got to see amazing views at sunset and appreciated some local cuisine too! I would highly recommend

5.00This was one of the best activities we did on our 2 weeks in Europe and I think that was partly because David was so awesome! He gave us some general history as well as beer history and it was a nice way to check out Old Town. David was super passionate and knowledgeable while keeping things lights and fun and taking us places we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. If you’re considering this tour, BOOK IT!

5.00This was honestly one of the best tours we’ve done in years. Adam (?) was a great guide, with a great sense of humor and historic knowledges in addition to beer-specific expertise. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening visiting various local pubs and walking around town by the castle. Highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates local beers and history.

5.00We had a wonderful experience with our guide Tom. The tour brought us from Charles Bridge all around Mala Strana. We learned a lot about the city history and beer and pub culture in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere with our guide. The beer tasting was very pleasant and we got to try different tastes and brews. We warmly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine and local experience. Tom was the best and made us feel like we were having a drink with a knowledgeable local friend!

It was a small group of very nice people and our guide Adam was a delight - he told us so much about Prague and Czech beer and history and showed us so many cool places. We would absolutely recommend taking this tour, there wasn‘t even one boring moment. Also, the beers were delicious! PS: @Adam: The skiing region we talked about is called St. Anton am Arlberg!
