Join our Prague-native, expert tour guides on our 3-hour Castle Side Beer Tour where we will take you to several of our handpicked favorite pubs!
The Czech Republic is known worldwide for its beer, so if you want to try some of the best beers it has to offer while learning more about the history of beer and getting a fully authentic and traditional pub experience, this is for you.
On this tour, you can expect to taste various beer styles from different breweries stretching from our famous Pilsner Urquell, the very first Pilsner ever created, all the way to an acclaimed micro-brewery inside of a monastery complex!
Aside from just drinking beer, our guides will introduce you to Czech beer and pub culture, and traditional Czech snacks that were made to be the perfect beer accompaniments. On top of all that, this tour takes place around Prague Castle & Malá Strana, so you will have the chance to see the beautiful historical center of Prague.

Strahov Monastery Brewery
After a short tram rides up the hill, we hit our favorite monastery brewery to taste a specialty beer and discuss the local beer industry and beer-making techniques even more.

5.00The beertour was very fun. The tourguides Sebastian en Erik were also great and made for a good experience. Vistited 4 local pubs where they had a couple of funny facts lined up for us. Overall great experience

5.00We absolutely loved this tour! Our tour guide Jachym (momento) was incredibly knowledgeable, but also friendly and genuinely fun to hang out with. He shared a lot of great information- not only about the beers, but also about local history as well. The walk between each location was also a great way to see the castle area. There are some steeper inclines along the walk, which we did okay with, but those with lower mobility may have issues. Don’t forget to wear good walking shoes. Overall, I can’t recommend this tour enough!!

5.00Amazing experience! Memento (Jachym) was such a fun and knowledgeable guide, we received so much great information on both the beers we tried and the history of Prague. Every place offered something different, and it was nice being able to do some walking in between beers. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

5.00We had a great time on this tour with our guide Jachym. Not only do you get to see some cool drinking spots and learn about local beers, you also get to learn a lot about local history. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and just fun to hang out with. A great way to see the castle area and try some great beers! Highly recommend!!!

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Adam was very nice, knowledgeable and fun. We could ask him many different questions and gave great recommendations for the rest of our stay. We had a small group, only four people, but that was great! This way, we could talk about all sorts of things. The beers were also good and it was a nice mix of different kinds.

5.00We booked a three hour walking tour without much knowledge and I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was firstly the time went so quickly, secondly we had a nice small intimate international group and finally our tour guide Jacob was fantastic! He catered to all our needs, from dietary requirements to additional details or answering all of our questions. He took us to spots which weren’t full of tourists and areas which were calmer and much quieter! We got to see amazing views at sunset and appreciated some local cuisine too! I would highly recommend

5.00This was one of the best activities we did on our 2 weeks in Europe and I think that was partly because David was so awesome! He gave us some general history as well as beer history and it was a nice way to check out Old Town. David was super passionate and knowledgeable while keeping things lights and fun and taking us places we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. If you’re considering this tour, BOOK IT!
