Great tour. Daria was engaging fun and clearly very knowledgeable. Only one negative is that she mentioned Joe Hendry but he never appeared!

Thank you Dante for a very entertaining macabre tour of York. We visited many spots of the old city with gruesome and spooky tales. Dante helped add theatre and the odd prop to keep us on our toes. Thoroughly recommend this tour

Twas a dark and stormy night, which is apparently normal for Yorkshire, as Davina lead us a merry jaunt through the streets of York to tell us tales of the spooky goings on the city is famous for. She has a wonderful flair for the dramatic and a way of storytelling that makes an hour and a half feel like barely the half. She kept our spirits up, pun fully intended, with as many laughs as there were shudders. Truly a credit to the Deathly family.

Dante Deathly Wow. What an experience. Genuinely a good mix of humour and education on Yorks spooky history! 90 minutes of spooky entertainment! Dante made the whole experience extra special with his quick witted banter and ability to demand the crowd. My partner and I thought he’d make for a great actor as well :) For those who are autistic like myself it’s important to note there was no forced interaction or touching and it was very comfortable! We’ll definitely book again on our next visit to York! We’d definitely like to request Dante again!! - Martine & Jake

Very funny and engaging guide, David. Reminded me of horrible histories style story telling.. we enjoyed it even the weather was sooo cold.

This is a fun, lighthearted and informative walking tour of some of the city's key attractions but with a deadly twist, delivered with theatrical perfection by the eloquent guide Dante Deadly, who frankly, wouldn't be put of place as lead role in Shakespeare. Not for kids though, I think it would scare them.

Excellent stroll around the beautiful but very cold city of York. Daria Deathly was a super, crazy chaotic guide. Ticket price was money well spent. 90 minutes of fun, laughter, scares and thrills. Audiences participation improved the whole evening. We were a small select group of mixed ages. Pace of the walking in the tour was comfortable for everyone. Would truely recommend you give this tour 90 minutes of your stay in York especially on a dark cold evening. 👻

What a brilliant way to explore York and the hidden stories that come with it. Dalton our tour guide made it that more enjoyable. With a large group of about 50 of us. Which made it that more fun. It’s definitely a must if you’re going to York. And even better in the dark like our tour.
