  I have followed Deathly Dark Tours since lockdown and finally did a live tour and was not disappointed! Our tour guide was Dante, he was a great showman! It was fun and spooky and thoroughly entertaining. If you are looking for a ghost tour while in York DO THIS ONE! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  This was our second tour with The Deathlys and we booked for the Halloween season. Dalton and Dadydd didn’t disappoint - they were so funny and worked really well together to tell the stories. They were kind enough to pose for a photo at the end too. We were a group of 4 and everyone was talking about how good the night was for days after. Thank you Deathlys for making my trip to York even better! Eleanor and Annie

  From the moment Dante Deathly presented himself to the group, we knew we were in for a fun evening. My fiance and I booked the tour hoping for an informative but fun approach to some of the folklore and history of old York, and we're not disappointed. Great value for money, we spent an hour and a half touring the streets and "snickleways" (new word learned!), hearing dark tales from days gone by. Dante's delivery and comedy was just spot on, he created a great atmosphere and was highly entertaining. We chuckled our way through the tour, hanging on his every word, even when he made us jump! Absolutely brilliant guide. 10/10 we recommended this tour, a fantastic way to spend an evening in York.

  The actors were absolutely awesome – so talented and fully in character the entire time! The stories were gripping, atmospheric, and incredibly well told. I was completely immersed from start to finish and loved every moment of it. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting York!

  Just to clarify I booked this for me and my boyfriend, we booked the adults only tour. Honestly, it did not disappoint, it was highly entertaining and theatrical and if you’re looking for something different to fill your night with that’s a little bit different, I would reccomend this tour.

  The Deathly Dark Tours is simply the best tour in York by a long way. We always have a brilliant time and the tour with Dafydd and Dalton was no exception. They are both informative and so funny. Their delivery of the spooky tales are excellent and the group by the reactions enjoyed it immensely also. The only thing that could possibly upstage them were two inflatable dinosaurs!!! Dorian, Dede and the other guides put an enormous amount of time and effort in guaranteeing a fantastic product, and the fact we have done approximately 30 tours should tell everyone how absolutely brilliant this Ghostwalk is. We have the greatest of pleasure in thoroughly recommending this tour and five stars are simply not enough. Keep up the fantastic work Deathly’s and see you again very soon My wife and I have also done the Spookologist Tour which is equally brilliant. An evening with The Deathly’s is not to be missed

  Me and my other half booked this tour for a little bit of Halloween fun and it was fantastic! The tour guides were both absolutely brilliant, they were hilarious, incredibly charismatic and had a great bunch of spooky stories to get us in the spirit! It was the highlight of our weekend in York. 10 out of 10… getting an EMF reader was an excellent touch and my boyfriend loved it - especially when it spiked! Thanks guys! X

  My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the ghost walk in York and would definitely recommend. Lasted 1 hour 30 minutes and was a good sized group 👍
