  We had the most wonderful day on this tour with our guide Peter. One of us was more of a Godfather fan but the tour was excellent for both of us. We saw the most beautiful views and scenery, and a couple of lovely small towns. A highlight was the stop at the villa where the movie’s car explosion occurred, which is still owned by the Baron who greets you and shows you around. It was a memorable and worthwhile day.   This tour was truly one of the highlights of our time in Italy and it was largely thanks to our incredible driver, Peter. He blended film history with local traditions and food, making the experience feel authentic. Peter made sure everyone in our family felt included and comfortable. We could not imagine a better driver for this experience. If you’re considering any tour offered by this company within the region, be certain to ask for Peter as it will make all the difference.

  First of all we would highly recommend this tour if you are a fan of the Godfather books and movies . The house tour which is extra is a must see as well ! We were lucky enough to meet the very hospitable , distinguished Baron of the estate . My husband suggests everyone ask for Peter . He was so informative and friendly. Grazia !!

  Absolutely fantastic day! Even my partner loved it and he’s not a Godfather Movie Geek like me. We would honestly not have travelled to or seen such precious and beautiful, quaint old towns and heard such personal stories about the residents and their love for, their experiences with Francis Ford Coppola, the actors and crew if not for the Movies, and we are eternally grateful! We were collected close to our hotel in Giardini Naxos, and warmly welcomed by Peter, our Driver & Guide for the day. We were in a small group of five visitors, which was wonderful, felt very personal and luckily our fellow travellers from Brazil and Australia were delightful companions. We were blown away by the Baron and his home and it was more than worth the mere €25 euros each to visit this amazing, historical, and precious property. This Baronial home is strongly featured in all three movies and made for a fascinating visit. If given the option, please do not miss this! The Baron himself regaled us with stories of Al Pacino, FF Coppola, and others, he has obviously become great friends with them all to this day. We were able to stand and sit in such iconic locations from the movies, and learn so much more about the making of each one in this very special location. The following stop-offs included so many more iconic gems including ‘Bar Vitelli’.. to sit where Michael Corleone sat, when asking for permission to call on Apollonia and her family was a joy! The coffee here and granita was superb, and a great little break before moving on to many more gems. We all felt Peter was an excellent guide, personable, kind, and willing to go the extra mile for us, we felt extremely fortunate. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough, and it is an experience we will never forget. Thank you to Peter, Viator and the ‘Sicily Grand Tour’ Company, fantastic!! Ps. The Pizza we enjoyed on our late lunch stop was actually the best we enjoyed during our whole tour of Sicily. Such an added bonus!

  We chose this tour because it fit our travel dates best and included all the main Godfather filming locations — and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. Peter picked us up from the center of Catania around 9 a.m. in a spacious and comfortable car. He’s a calm and safe driver, which made the trip very pleasant. A few days before the tour, we were asked if we wanted to visit Castello degli Schiavi. We were really hoping to go there, and we were so happy that it was possible! The visit is paid separately in cash (€25 per person) directly to the owner, but it was absolutely worth it. The owner is fascinating, and we took so many photos while exploring the castle. Peter also gave us lots of extra information and interesting stories to complement the visit. Even though it was raining that day, Peter handled everything perfectly — he suggested a lovely café stop while waiting for the storm in the mountains to pass. Later, we visited all the main spots in Savoca and Forza d’Agrò, had plenty of time for photos and videos, and even enjoyed lunch at a cozy and affordable local restaurant with great food. As for Bar Vitelli, it was a bit touristy and the prices were quite high (about €4 for an espresso or water), but it’s still worth a quick stop for the atmosphere and a few pictures. Overall, the tour was perfectly planned, informative, and full of memorable experiences. Highly recommended for any Godfather fan!

  Peter was an excellent driver and our tour took place on a day in November of absolute torrential rain in the am. We paid the extra $$ so we could tour the actual huge estate where the Godfather lived. Interior tour was given by the older fellow/Duke whose family owned the estate for over 400 years..he was great. Best part when touring other locations where filmed is that Peter had actual video footage of the old film to correlate your recall. Peter was great!!

  We were collected locally and immediately warmly welcomed by our driver and guide Peter. Our first stop off was the home of a local Baron, who’s home was used in the movies 1, 2 & 3! This was a sensational stop off, personally welcomed by the Baron himself and shown around his beautiful and historical home. We were free to take photos in all the situations used in the movies to our great delight. The whole day involved visiting iconic sites including Bar Vitelli and the Corleone Village locations, with Peter kindly adding in a couple more treats for us himself! At lunch we chose the house speciality pizza, which turned out to be delicious and the best pizza we have enjoyed on our Sicily tour so far. We cannot thank Peter enough for such a wonderful day. He was kind, warm, extremely personable and added so much extra information and interest to our day. Thank you again. We loved every moment!   This tour was amazing even if you are not a true fan of the godfather it was a amazing tour my husband loved all the godfather facts but I loved the fact we got to see so much of Sicily that I wouldn’t have seen if not for Peter and his knowledge truly a day to remember thank you Peter

  It was just the right amount of time. Two excellent breaks. One for a beverage/snack at the bar and lunch Mach at the village. Three bathroom breaks. Great information. Fabulous antiques. Walking tour was not strenuous.
