Doug is an informative, kind tour guide who turned a rainy London afternoon into a magical walk through the gardens. High tea was scrumptious. Highly recommend, especially with Doug.

Doug was very warm and enthusiastic. He shared some very interesting information as we walk through the beautiful green spaces. Additionally, he helped my friend and me secure more comfortable seating at the Orangerie for high tea. The only complaint I have is with the Orangerie service; It was lackluster to say the least.

The guide was informative, witty, and made us feel at ease. It was perfect to be informed about the history of the Gardens.

You should know the garden tour prior to the tea is more a park setting (with runners and dog walkers) than actual gardens with flowers. Our guide, Paul, is a treasure trove of knowledge with added humor, making it enjoyable as well as interesting. I believe I read in one of the reviews to wear comfshoes. I wore a pair of flats that are normally comfortable but for this tour in the park a pair of sneakers would have been more appropriate. The Palace tour is ca great add on as well.
