Angkor Wat
ASTONISHING OF ANGKOR WAT: Every visitor walking through the Angkor Wat Temple complex will be astonished by its vastness (covering an area of 400 acres). Because of its complexity and symmetry, visitor’s attention may be either attracted or distracted. Looking from a distance, this grand temple appears to be a colossal mass with series of elevated towers, chambers, courtyards and enclosure walls at different levels. The central tower (213-foot-tall). Angkor Wat was originally built for Hindu God SRI VISHNU, whose monolithic sculpture measuring 10.8 feet tall is depicted with eight arms. Some of the pillars in the courtyard have inscriptions in Sanskrit and Khmer language. Here is a collection of reliefs of Vishnu, Hindu puranic events, Dancing Apsaras and motifs inside the courtyards. The largest religious construction in the world is surrounded by a rectangular moat which measures 1.5km by length and 1.3km by width.
Bayon Temple
FASCINATING FACES: Bayon Temple was constructed in the heart of ‘Angkor Thom’ intended to represent ‘Mount Meru’, the center of the universe in Hindu and Buddhist beliefs. The name “Bayon” was a French transcription by European explorers in 19th-Century. Scholars associate the figure with 4 faces with the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, who appears with multiple faces, an important deity in Mahayana Buddhism. However, the faces have also been associated with the multi-faced, Hindu God, 'Brahma', who is the Creator of the Universe.
Start by visiting the South-gate, going through to the famous 54 towers represented to the kingdom provinces of Bayon temple under the reign of Jayavarman Vii dedicated to Buddhist Satva Alvokisvra. T

Amazing experience with Ra! Such a lovely person with excellent communication skills and an abundance of knowledge. Being a family with 2 small children, Ra was very accommodating. Angkor Wat was amazing! Bonus Ra is a fabulous photographer as well :)

Ra took us around in a vehicle (an Alphard) that was comfortable and clearly lovingly maintained. He’s a safe and skilled driver as well as a knowledgeable and experienced guide who speaks excellent English. He was considerate of the needs of the elderly in our group and we are very appreciative of him. Also, go ahead to ask Ra for food recommendations - he’ll take you to lovely local places with good food! (Ask to try warm palm cake!) Thanks so much, Ra! You made Siem Reap so comfortable for us.

Ra was an amazing guide. Took me to several temples, coordinated pick up of my friends from the airport and bus station. Was very knowledgeable about local history and took us to various local restaurants. Very comfortable car. Would 1000% recommend doing a tour with this company.

Ra “the sun god” is the best tour guide we have had! He is an absolutely trustworthy, competent ,reliable and fluent in English. He has a great sense of humor that kept us laughing! He met us early for a tour of Cambodian temples including Ankor Wat temple,Ta Prohm temple and Bayon temple. He also took us to a local restaurant for the best Amok and coconut water. Ra is very knowledgeable about Cambodia-its history and people. He has more than 10 years of experience and was able to give us detailed information about all the temples that we visited! He also knew the best places to take pictures to create core memories! His photography skills are also unmatched! We highly recommend his services to anyone who wants to visit Siem Reap!!We loved him and you will too!

The service was very good, it started with a well organized pick up from the airport to beautiful sights and background information about the people, history and places. Overall we felt very well received and looked after. He was also literally spot on German with Asian flexibility. He also knows how to involve the kids in the tour and gives valuable tips for photo spots. The car was clean and very comfortable. Thank you very much for the wonderful tour.

The tour and transportation was five stars. The Tour Guide had amazing humor and spoke perfect English. He made a great suggestion for lunch that did not disappoint. Would highly recommend. It was very hot, but we are Alaskans so maybe others can stand 98°F but it was a lot for us. Even with the hot weather, he moved us through the temples quickly, but not too quickly. It was just perfect! Ask for Ra!

We traveled with Ra to Angkor Wat and Phnom Penh as a family of 4 in December 2023. Ra is a great guide, with a lot of knowledge about Angkor Wat and its temples, but also about the history of Cambodia. He gave us great support in planning and made all of our wishes possible. From the pickup from the airport and transfer to Phnom Penh in a very comfortable van, to the many temple tours in a tuktuk or van, everything was really great! Thank you and see you next time!

This is the only review I've ever written for a travel company that I have used--that's how great of an experience my girlfriend and I just had with our tour guide, Ra. We spent 3 days with him seeing Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, the floating village at Kompong Khleang, and many other sites and temples. It was all amazing thanks to Ra, who explained the history (ancient and recent), the meanings of the carvings in the temples, and even gave us restaurant recommendations. He was especially great at avoiding the crowds, finding perfect spots for pictures, and his english was excellent.

We toured the inner circuit of Angkor Wat with Ra and had an amazing time. He was a real pro and is so knowledgeable about Cambodian history and the history of the Angkor Wat. His English was great and his easy going demeanor made it easy to spend 5-6 hours together as we explored one of the most marvelous places I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend going with Ra on this tour!

Ra was our guide for 2 days , and we had a couple of Tuk Tuk’s which added to the adventures. Full day of temples on day 1 including Angkor Wat, then mixed it up day 2 with Ra’s advice. Took in some lesser tourist temples which were magnificent and also went to the floating villages. Visited the war memorial which is far more basic than in Vietnam and but equally as stark to take in the history. Drivers were great , friendly and always ready with cold water and cold towel when we arrived back after walking Couple of markets and the odd seller to deal with but part of the fun in Cambodia. Highly recommended.
