The Narrows is an iconic hike in Zion National Park. We will be hiking from the Temple of Sinawava along the riverside walk, then into the Virgin River for approximately 2 miles upstream. The towering cliffs, handing gardens, and springs provide excellent photo opportunities. We will hike as far as the Orderville Canyon, before returning along the same route to the Temple of Sinawava. Though there is not much elevation gain on this hike, it is challenging to forge upstream while navigating large submerged river stones. We will enjoy a charcuterie board picnic on the beautiful grassy lawn of the Zion Lodge.

Moises was an excellent guide! He texted us the night before to confirm location and gear sizing. He shared his knowledge of Zion and experience with the Narrows and other hikes. We were nervous our kids (12 &14) would complain during the hike - they LOVED it! Moises made it fun for them and took them down little rapids along the side of the Narrows. The charcuterie board hit the spot on the way back. 10/10 highly recommended!! Thank you Moises for sharing your love of Zion with our family!! Peace

Our family of four had an amazing time! The Narrows is something not to be missed. The views are breathtaking. Each view is better than the last. The hike is challenging in some portions, but definitely doable, even for someone like me who rarely hikes. Our guide, Moises, was great. Such a nice person! He anticipated our every need along the way and is a great photographer! Highly recommend this trip.

The Narrows was breathtaking!! Physically challenging but not unmanageable by any means. Moises gave us all the equipment and packed us a lovely charcuterie lunch! We had the BEST time. Moises knew the best routes and the best places for photos. The water was refreshing bc it was a hot day! Definitely start this tour early and prepare for epic views!

Michael was our guide and went above and beyond. He met us at the park with all our necessary equipment, packed a beautiful lunch and guided us safely through the narrows. He has a wealth of information and was a great resource for our stay in Zion and Bryce. Can’t recommend enough and we have memories that will last a lifetime!

We had a fabulous experience with our guide, Moises, who was extremely knowledgeable and kind. He took the time to make sure we were safe and explained what we saw and even took all the pictures. We highly recommend this company.

Incredible time hiking through the narrows today. DJ is a knowledgeable, personable, and very encouraging guy. He made the hike a really great experience and pointed out lots of cool things I would never have seen otherwise. Came prepped with great equipment and snacks and presented a picturesque charcuterie board halfway through. Let us have our say of everything we wanted to do and showed us really cool side features such as a fallen tree we walked across and a rock that we were able to jump off. Couldn’t recommend DJ more and think everyone would benefit from this experience.

The hike was really refreshing. As a fourth grader at an average height, the water came up to my thighs. There were many different kinds and colors of the rocks. The Narrows are a mix of a land and water hike. The equipment was very high quality and was very comfortable. The hiking poles helped the most by giving you an extra layer of support to make sure you don’t slip. In my opinion, even though the Narrows are under the strenuous column, it is not very difficult to hike. I wouldn’t recommend the hiking trip to elderly parents who have had knee pain. It would also be difficult for young children to hike. Michael (our awesomely great tour guide): Michael told us many things about nature. We learned about many plants and erosions. We learned about a moss that turns green from being black when water touches it. He also thought us that “Leaves of three, let it be.” He wanted to protect us from poison ivy. We learned about the Mystery Mountain and the Mystery Fall that never stop flowing water. He showed us many fossils and he was incredibly kind and enthusiastic. He asked me many questions about myself. He also shared the age you have to be to be able to hike the Narrows (8+ in summer and 12+ in winter). Mr. Michael also made the best lunch ever!! It was very satisfying since we were hiking a lot. He also mentioned that tour guiders were only allowed to guide a certain length and that going the full 9.4 miles was dangerous since water levels were rising every week and that it was risky to go to the very end because flash floods could happen. As of many hikes I have done in my life, I think the Narrows were the best especially because of Mr. Michael. We love you Mr. Michael!! Sincerely, 10 year old, Diya❤️

Michael provided the best Narrows hike experience! We didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everything was taken care of and provided (boots, trekking poles, lunch, and photos/vids)! This experience was a big bucket list item for me and we wouldn’t have done it any other way. Thanks, Michael!!

This was an amazing trail with an amazing guide! Michael made sure to point out highlights along the way and made it a stress-free day! I loved that he brought us the cutest charcuterie board, which we enjoyed in the ambience of the park. I would definitely book again!
