I didn't know that I needed to find a way back to my hotel. I didn't tip because the tip I would have made cost the grab home that I wasn't expecting.

I had a nice time. Necian was great. He's good dude who is informative and conversational. I enjoyed eating new cuisine and some I've had before, balut. The skies gave us a break with only a slight drizzle. Thank you for a great tour.

Overall, the food sampling was poor, and I ended up buying more things to eat after. However, our tour guide and walking tour of center of city was excellent. After the tour was over, we ended up taking the tour guide out for drinks. The owner/operator should consider more sampling, and possibly minimize things that are not compatible for tourists, e.g., pig brain sauce and increase more of things that are tasty - Lechon (we got a small portion), and other choices at the food court which is the last stop. Charging almost 70 dollars for the tour with so underwhelming food amount and choices seem overpriced and poor business practice.

Phillip is a very knowledgeable and kind tour guide. I learned so much about the history and enjoyed visiting the local restaurants. The food was amazing. As a solo female traveler female traveler I felt very safe and highly recommended this tour. Don’t me afraid to ask for Phillip as your guide, he’s awesome!

We recently joined The Original Cebu City History and Food Walk with Nescian as our tour guide, and we were absolutely impressed! He first took us to a local street food spot where we tasted authentic dishes, then guided us through some of Cebu’s most important historical sites. We learned so much about the history of Cebu and the Philippines in general. We only saw the churches from the outside since we weren’t dressed appropriately, but this didn’t bother us. (If you want to enter the churches, make sure to wear knee-length pants or skirts and tops that cover the shoulders.) We also recommend wearing comfortable sneakers for the walking part. Our highlight was definitely the local night market – Nescian explained everything wonderfully, and we felt both safe and well-fed throughout the entire tour. A huge thank you again! We highly recommend this tour and suggest leaving a tip, as the experience is truly worth it. We would happily do it again!

It rained heavily on the day of my tour and flooded the streets but my tour guide (Necian) and I still had a great time. He brought me a bottle of water and showed me the different sites in Cebu. We were able to see everything except for the ancestral house since it was flooded inside. He provided lots of information about Cebu. He was patient as we struggled to find taxis in the bad weather. At the end of the tour he made sure I made it to my hotel safely. The whole time I felt safe, well informed and well accompanied. This tour is good if you want to feel and get around like a native of Cebu. And the food was pretty good too.

It was a really good tour. We were able to taste many small local dishes as well as see some historic sites. It was all something we hadn't found ourselves. We had a nice guide, Kyle, who was good at telling as well as good at English, so we got a lot out of it! We definitely recommend this trip!

Kyle was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. He was also great about taking photos for me and my friend. I enjoyed all the food we ate on the tour. And even though we opted not to try the Balut, he was a good sport about getting it so we could see it, eating it, then telling us about it. Sunday may not be the best day of the week for this tour due to traffic and Sunday mass, but we made the best of it. We also got to ride in a Jeepney, which was fun. And at the end of the tour when we realized we wouldn't be able to take a Grab home, he helped us hail a taxi. I highly recommend this tour.

Kyle was very friendly and professional and knew his history! He greeted me at the starting location with a cool bottle of water. The food was delicious (be ready for lots of "fried" and some surprises, but your guide will check with you up front to see if you have any food restrictions). I felt safe going through some areas where I might not have felt comfortable going alone. It's some walking, a Jeepney ride to the first stop, and a taxi ride to one of the other areas. My guide took lots of photos for me. If your group is smaller, it may not take the full 4 hours.

Great tour for those travelling to Cebu City! As an American born FIlipino travelling to the Philippines for the first time, this is exactly the type of tour I was looking for. Kyle was an amazing tour guide that not only provided information on the sights visited/food consumed, but also insight into the culture inherent to Cebu. Definitely come hungry and with an open mind!
