I loved my solo tour with Nhi and highly recommend it to others. I was able to book the tour directly via A Taste of Hanoi's website the day before and appreciate how quickly I received confirmation. The tour itself was informative and gave me a better understanding of how history has informed aspects of Vietnam's culture. I also appreciated the several stops for drinks and conversation given the heat!

This was a really great and informative tour. The tour mainly focuses on a complicated and sad chapter of history. Nhi and Moon were phenomenal in creating the balance of understanding the war from the Vietnamese perspective while also showing us parts of Hanoi life that was insightful. They were great guides. I will also note one of the most fun parts of the tour was the Scooter ride around Hanoi. And the lunch spot was perfect! A great tour for those interested in this part of history.

We had a fantastic tour of war memorials and places, some hidden in amongst the streets and houses of Hanoi. Our guide was excellent, very informative and clear in her descriptions. It was very interesting to hear of the Hanoi citizens perspective from then, as well as now. Both drivers (we were on scooters) were excellent, even with me a 115kg tall guy 😊. Highly recommend them!

This was an amazing tour of Hanoi I would recommend to everyone, especially first time visitors. Our guides Ni and Ti (I’m not sure how to spell their names but phonetically Knee and Tea) were absolutely incredible. They had so much insight into not only the history and culture of Vietnam but also the current climate and customs. They took us to many important sites from the war as well as places like the wet market. They made our trip very special. The food on this tour was also spectacular. At first, we were hesitant about hopping on the backs of motor bikes but they made us feel very safe. We were able to see things from the motorbikes we wouldn’t have been able to experience otherwise. Thank you Ni and Ti!

We had an amazing day with Ha and Nhi. They took us to see some very interesting historical sites in Hanoi on their motorcycles. They were both very generous and very knowledgeable. We felt safe on the bikes, and extremely well looked after. It was an absolute highlight of our visit to Hanoi and we will never forget the experience.

We went with scooters. First it was raining, but they where prepared with rain protection for us. It is so much more flexible to go with a scooter!!We got a great insight view on Vietnam History and we where able to learn a lot from our guide Ha. He was accompanied from Niguyet and the two of them took very good care of us I loved when we went through the black market on our scooters. It felt like in a James Bond movie

This was a really great experience and I learned so much about the city and its history that I would not have been able to learn otherwise. My guide was Ha, and he was super knowledgeable and friendly. He took me to many less touristy parts of the city, including some of his favourite places to eat for snack and meal breaks.
