What To Expect
Begin with the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the oldest and largest of the three pyramids, built around 2580–2560 BC as a pharaoh's tomb over 27 years. Its original height reached 146.5 meters, making it the tallest human-made structure for over 3,800 years, though now slightly eroded to 138.5 meters. Next, visit the Pyramid of Khafre, second in size and featuring the nearby Great Sphinx, a mythical guardian with a lion's body and pharaoh's head, plus the Valley Temple for panoramic Just 2 km from the pyramids, enter the world's largest archaeological museum, housing over 100,000 artifacts across 12 galleries spanning prehistoric to Greco-Roman eras. Highlights include Tutankhamun's complete 5,000-item collection—gold mask, chariots, thrones—and the reconstructed Khufu solar boat, revealing ancient shipbuilding prowess. The Grand Staircase welcomes visitors with colossal statues like Ramses II and Senusret III amid immersive exhibits on kingship, society, and beliefs.

5.00Excellent experience overall. Was very thorough with the visit, explained most of what we saw at the sites and their historical background. They also recommended various local spots to visit and see which helped greatly. We were mostly worried we wouldn’t be able to view everything due to the crowd around, but the trip was arranged perfectly that we managed to see all agreed upon locations with no trouble or rush.
